Adam slowly stepped out of the landing pod and looked at the spires. The pulsating light from these structures was visible from orbit and the strange sounds emanating from them gave Adam the chills. But this was no time to be afraid.
The other team members were already exploring down in the valley below and it was time for him to join them.
“Hey Adam, I see you’ve landed. Come down from the hill. We’ve found something inside here.”
Richard, his second in command, was already near one of the spires.
“What did you find Richard?” Adam asked.
“Don’t know how to describe it. You’ll need to see it for yourself.”
“Alright Richard. I’m on my way. Over and out.”
Who created these strange spires? Well that’s what Adam and his exploration team were here to find out.

In today's #Photoshop #Tutorial, we'll travel to the planet of Orion, 12 thousand light years from Earth, where we meet a couple enjoying a campfire, under the stars.
This is the perfect night to ask her for her hand in marriage. A clear sky with no clouds above and the moon of Orion over the horizon.
My grandfather once told me that he proposed to my grandmother on a night like this, under the stars - but that was back on Earth. This beautiful world of Orion, so different and yet so familiar. It’s the perfect world to raise a family, to start over.
If only my grandparents could see us now. Many thought that we could never make it, 12 thousand light years away from Earth.
This is indeed the perfect night. Well, I better stop daydreaming. Time to start the campfire.

In this Photoshop Tutorial, we'll witness the disappearance of David, as he's taken to another universe.
David called his wife to let her know that he was on his way home. He had a long shift at work and he couldn’t wait to get home, take a bath and get some sleep. Tonight was a night like any other, taking the side-roads and shortcuts off the highway, to reach his home in the countryside.
“Just a few more minutes“ David thought, as he turned his van on the final road towards his house.
But then his van stopped working.
“What the hell is wrong with this thing?” David turned the key a few times, but the van simply would not start.
He picked up his cellphone to call his wife again - but there was no signal.
“Well, I better go check the engine.”
David stepped out to take a look at his engine - but what he saw made him stop moving.
An hour later, David’s van was found by the police, sitting by the side of the road with the engine idly running.
David was nowhere to be found.

// STORY:
In this #Photoshop #Tutorial, we'll travel to the Andromeda System.
With the FTL Drives on Stand-By Mode, the sub-light engines pushed the colony ship forward towards Andromeda.
Cryo-chambers began the process of reviving passengers. Alex was one of the first to be awakened. He took a look outside, through the small vid-window next to his bed, at the beautiful planet below.
“So, this is my new home now,” Alex said to himself, “I better get ready.”
Alex picked up his backpack and left his room to join the rest of his team. They would be the first of the colonists to land on the planet below.
The journey across the stars was over, but his adventure on Andromeda had just begun.
