In last weeks video I showed you a couple of really neat craft supplies that I had never seen at the Dollar Tree before. In this video I am going to test these two products and let you know what my opinion is on each of them and show you my results.
The first product was a Do it Yourself candle and the second item was glass etching cream. I was so excited about both of them! So watch to see if they are worth a dollar.

Using Snakeskin in Magick

There are so many wonderful ways to use snakeskin in your magickal practice. Even though I am so afraid of snakes, even I use them in my craft.

You can find so many items everyday at the Dollar Tree to be used in your craft. No matter what kind of witch you identify as, there is always something for you at the Dollar Tree. They have baking and kitchenware items for the kitchen witch, craft supplies for that crafty witch, gardening items for every Hedge and Green witch and so much more.

In this video I will take you on a short walkthrough of just some of the items that I found when I went shopping at my local Dollar Tree. There are a few clips that was accidentally filmed vertically, I do apologize if that throws you off while watching. It has been a long couple of weeks for this crafting crone. As many of you probably already know I became a new grandma for the fourth time on the 10th. He was born premature and his lungs had not fully developed. So we spent a week in Nortons Children's Hospital and let me tell you they are amazing there. My beautiful grandson is finally home with his sister and brothers and is doing wonderful along with my daughter, who is healing nicely. So now things should return back to normal.

I received these cards for Yule/Christmas this year and it was love at first sight. I had been living under a rock or something because I had no idea that these cards actually existed. A family friend wanted to do something nice for me and surprise me with them, and boy was I surprised. When I took them out of the box my eyes immediately started to tear. The velvety feel of the extremely thick card stock, the beautiful pictures that were shining back at me, and lets face it the fact that they were a true black was astounding. The deep rich color that everyone tries for but fails was just one of so many things about these cards that I fell in love with.
So do I have anything bad to say about them? Yes. The card stock, though we think we want it to be that thick, makes it hard to actually shuffle the deck and hold it comfortably in your hands. I felt like I was straining to hold onto them. Honestly that is my only complaint. I of course will continue to use these cards as they are absolutely stunning and magical to me.
Would I recommend these cards? For Sure! I thing these cards are fantastic and I still love to add them to my rotation of cards.

After all of the holidays and beginning a new year, sometimes we just do not feel like celebrating another one. When we think of February it's typically about Valentines Day. We forget that there is a holiday in February that is just as important. Imbolc.
It's a cross-quarter holiday that celebrates the half way mark between winter and spring. It signifies that Mother Earth is beginning to slowly rise from her slumber and we can begin to see the first signs of spring. It's a time for reconnecting with the earth and cleansing away anything that we are still holding onto from the previous year.
This time is when we do home and hearth witchcraft and focus our intentions to our family and friends. A time when we perform fertility spells and home cleansings and blessings.

Today I want to do a quick walk-through of all of the new items that have hit the shop this week. I am so excited to introduce new merch to the shop and I hope that you all like them too.
