Conspiracy of Silence is a 56-minute unreleased documentary film produced by Yorkshire Television in 1994.
The subject of the film is an alleged child sexual abuse ring involving a number of prominent Nebraska persons, including Lawrence King, an Omaha banker, political fundraiser, and convicted felon.
The documentary was scheduled for broadcast in the United States on cable outlet Discovery Channel on May 3, 1994.
However, it was never aired. Proponents of the film claim that it was withdrawn due to political pressure; neither Yorkshire Television nor Discovery Channel commented officially on why it was not aired.

As for the conspiracy discussed,Stone also provided some presentation about the New World Order as well as the new fortress in the U.S. military particularly the National Security Agency or N.S.A. that was responsible in preventing terrorist attacks to the nation.It was said that the agency somehow abused the liberties and freedoms that Americans enjoy as they invaded their privacy by eavesdropping through them when making phone calls and using the internet.Aside from that,the real motive of the involvement of the United States in the Iraq War was more about W's personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein's failed assassination of his father,former President George H.W. Bush rather than being involved with Bin Laden during the 9/11 attacks.It also blamed the Bush administration for its incompetence as to why the attacks happened and that the U.S. has no business waging war in Afghanistan when it was the Saudis who kept Osama Bin Laden rather than Afghans.

Oliver Stone and his collaborators focuses the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan during the Bush administration.It presents how many American lives were lost as well as the torture incidents that American soldiers were involved in.As for the conspiracies involved,it also presents the personal motive of Bush was more of a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein rather than catching the terrorist who are guilty of the September 11 attacks in New York.Added to that,it also tries to portray how the Bush administration tried to manipulate the terror warnings to the Americans to fulfill their political motives.

After Bush finished his term,the ascendancy of President Barack Obama was also presented.Although there wasn't much discussion about the events of his term as President,it nevertheless showed how he did not much for the American people with regards to the improvement of the economy.Stone said that CEO's increased their income exponentially and many of the Americans suffered a lot by losing wealth in the economic difficulties that they are suffering during the Great Recession. Also,Stone was somewhat disappointed too to the inaction of the Americans despite of the sufferings that they are experiencing in these tough economic times.

Oliver Stone and his collaborators explores primarily the legacy of President Ronald Reagan.It starts with the last years of the Nixon presidency such as the near end of the Vietnam War,the bombings of third world countries like Cambodia,Watergate and Americans demanding for their rights in society;the Gerald Ford presidency in passing; and the legacy of President Jimmy Carter such as the Cold War,removal of US troops from Vietnam,the Middle East crisis particularly in Iran,the involvement of the United States in the war in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union where the animosity between the Taliban and the Americans started that would later lead to the September 11 attacks and the difficult economic situation that the United States.It concluded that Carter's inexperience and his failed foreign policies almost threatened world peace which laid the foundation of the groundwork for the presidency of Reagan.

Oliver Stone and his collaborators tries to examine the presidency of John Kennedy particularly his foreign policy and how he dealt with the Soviets and Communism.It also fully explored President Kennedy's attempts for world peace and minimization of the American's involvement in global affairs particularly wars that are taking place and the implementation of the Containment policy to prevent the spread of communism.It also reported his relationship with Nikita Khrushchev,the former Secretary General of the Soviet Union particularly in easing the tension in the Cold War and the minimization of militarism between the U.S and the Soviets for the sake of World Peace.

Also included in the documentary is the events surrounding the Bay Of Pigs and JFK's leadership when the world was at the brink of world war during the Cuban Missile Crisis.As for the conspiracy discussed,obviously JFK's assassination was also present BUT it was only in passing unlike Stone's 1991 film that stars Kevin Costner,JFK.Finally,the early years of the Vietnam War was also discussed and the opposition of JFK towards American involvement in it in relationship to his assassination as well as how everything after November 22,1963.

Oliver Stone and his collaborators fully explores the legacy of President Lyndon Baines Johnson and President Richard Nixon as well as the Vietnam War that the United States got involved with during their terms as President.Aside from that,it also provided information about the counterculture era particularly 1968.Added to that,it also discussed the assassinations of Martin Luther King,the leader of the Civil Rights Movements; and Robert F.Kennedy,a Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party.Finally,the Watergate that President Nixon was involved in was also presented.

As for the conspiracy discussed,it provides us information on how the CIA got involved with regards to paying anti-communist professors as well as people in the mass media in educating students and the people respectively about the ill effects of communism for the justification of the involvement of the United States in the Vietnam War.Also added is the actions of the FBI with regards to stopping the anti-Vietnam War movements and protesters

Oliver Stone and his collaborators tries to examine the presidency of Dwight Eisenhower,the prosperity of the United States after the war,the relationship between the U.S. and the Soviet Union,the participation of the United States in the Korean War and the nuclear armament of the the country that led to the nuclear arms race between the Russians and the Americans.It also explored further the efforts of the United States to prevent the spread of Communism globally through their Containment policy and the effect of the death of Joseph Stalin which contributed to the detriment of the US-Soviet relations.Aside from that,the conspiracies being tackled in this particular episode are the doctrine of the Nuclear annihilation,the rise of the Military Industrial Complex as a force in the U.S government and the growth of McCarthyism.Finally,the legacy of Eisenhower presidency on the country and the change of the country's global role was part of the narrative.

The Cold War: 1945-1950 is the fourth episode of the documentary series. In it,Oliver Stone and his collaborators tries to examine the rise of the Soviet Union after the end of World War II and how Communism came about.

As the documentary producers provide us events on how Communism became a by word to people all over the world,it also provides us an information of the causes of the Cold War based from the narration of practically monthly events from 1945 to 1950. While it does not point out who started it,it somehow blames the United States Government particularly President Harry Truman due to the dropping of the atomic bomb in Japan and how the United States tried to stop its spread by getting involved militarily by countries like Korea and Vietnam.In addition to that,we also are informed with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill's activities particularly his Iron Curtain speech after he got re-elected into the position after the war. It also discusses the activities of the Senate particularly the House Un-American Activities Committee and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) particularly its chief J.Edgar Hoover. The conspiracies being tackled is the rise of Joseph McCarthy and how the House Un-American Activities Committee tried to investigated the role of Hollywood in the Communist propaganda.

The Bomb is the third episode of the documentary series that closely examines the events that led up to the end of World War II especially after the unconditional surrender of both Germany and Japan as well as the development of military weapons that has the capacity to destroy the planet.It was presented how the Allies led by the United States were able to defeat both countries.

Aside from that,it also examines the rise to power of Vice-President Harry Truman into becoming the President of the United States and his legacy in World War II particularly the dropping of the atomic bomb in Japan.Also discussed in it was Project Manhattan which happens to be a project research team that was responsible for the development of the atomic bomb.In it,we get introduced to people like James Brynes and Robert Oppenheimer.

Oliver Stone and his collaborators closely examine the late President Franklin D.Roosevelt and how the country got involved during the Second World War and the American global role at a time when Germany was busy conquering different countries in Europe.Added to that,we also get to examine the relationship between Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.Also,we get to re-examine Henry Wallace,the former Vice-President during the Roosevelt administration and his possible effect had he once again won in 1944.We also investigate the building of the American Empire.Aside these events of US history,it also tackles the start of the second World War and the atrocities done by Germany while conquering different countries that sparked the start of World War II.Finally,it also provides the activities conducted by the United States when it wasn't involved yet in the war.

Roosevelt, Truman and Wallace is the second episode of the documentary series.In it,Oliver Stone narrates and explores events before and the moment it got involved in World War II,President Franklin D. Roosevelt's third and fourth run for the Presidency,his relationship with both British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin and the rise of Senator Harry Truman when he replaced Vice-President Henry Wallace during the fourth term of FDR and the beginnings of the Cold War. Aside from that,it also explored the United States in terms of military empire building and the shift in terms of leadership in the U.S. Government.
