Everybody loves a good crossover. Gamers and their love for their favourite franchises continue to find new ways to express their fandom pride and a popular way to do just that is by creating their own unique spin. In this case, one artist decided to take their love for League of Legends and Disney and combine that into something that ... works really well actually! Jinx, Ashe, Elise, and quite a few more get the Disney treatment in an adorable twist to two completely different series.

There are twelve pieces total in her the artist 'Dreemers' collection, all of which will have you looking at both Disney and League of Legends in an entirely different way.

To learn more about this Deviant Artist, you can check out her page right here to support her work! It's always interesting the different ways fans can express their love for multiple universes and this League of Legends/Disney crossover is no different!

12 Zodiac Signs Reborn As Terrifying Monsters By Damon Hellandbrand
We all are accustomed to the Zodiac signs that we have been using since the Babylonian era. Together with the sign names came the icons inspired by their constellations. But just because a character has been around forever doesn’t mean there aren’t new ways to reimagine it. Damon Hellandbrand, a talented artist, based in the U.S., has created a series of images that portray the Zodiac signs symbols as twisted, surreal creatures straight out of a nightmarish realm. Most of his artworks took the literal meanings of the signs Leo – lion, Pisces – fish, Taurus – Ox, thus creating fantastical human-beast hybrids.

Hellandbrand does much of his art with various digital illustration programs, but some are born as pencil drawings or watercolors – or “basically whatever medium I’m in the mood for.” He writes that he is inspired by artists like Ralph McQuarrie, Boris Vallejo, and Frank Frazetta, and it’s easy to imagine that Guillermo Del Toro might number among his influences as well.

Everyone loves a good scary tale, and we have been telling them since the dawn of time. In real life, humans are often the scariest creatures, but the cool thing about creating stories is we can imagine evil monsters and grotesque beasts. Cultures around the world have their own disturbing mythical creatures populating their traditional tales. Don’t worry, none of these beasts are real… or are they?

If you feel brave and want to tempt your imagination and nightmares, this is for you. The guys at CostumeCraze have created an infographic with the world’s most disturbing mythical creatures. Sweet dreams.

Stefan Koidl is an Austrian freelance illustrator and a concept artist, who creates eerie illustrations in Photoshop. His works feature various creepy motives, ranging from urban legends to mythical creatures.

Stefan said he has been drawing since he was a little kid but started focusing on drawing professionally about 3 years ago. When asked what inspires him to create these eerie drawings, the artist said: “Artists, films, games. I always wanted to make paintings like the “professionals” do. A huge inspiration is also the ability to paint stuff from your imagination, creating your “own worlds.” “I love Lord of the rings, Shutter Island, Stranger Things, and everything that has to do with fantasy or horror,” the artist told Demilked. Stefan says some of the most influential artists for him are Feng Zhu, Sabbas Apterus, John Park, Darek Zabrocki, Greg Rutkowski and Simon Stålenhag.

When asked how long it usually takes for him to finish his works, Stefan told us “It’s hard to tell when a drawing is finished, I mostly call it done after 6-10 hours.” Even though his works feature a few funny illustrations, like the one with the squirrel in The Shining bathroom scene, most of his works are focused around various creepy things. “It’s just fun to draw, I like playing with the “fear”,” shared Stefan.

Creepy Monsters Drawn On Sticky Notes By John Kenn Mortensen

Danish artist John Kenn Mortensen (also known as Don Kenn) writes and directs television shows for kids, but during his free time he pays tribute to the darker, spookier side of childhood filled with monsters and ghosts. Ugly, terrifying and bone-chilling monsters creep out of the darkest childhood nightmares and right into Kenn’s sticky notes. That’s right – the artist draws his highly imaginative little scenarios, where kids meet ghastly monsters, entirely on yellow post-its. In this contect, the creativity and intricacy of these little drawings truly leaves one in awe.

Spanish cartoonist Rubén Alias, better known as “Hyung86” created in May 2013 the project “Disney University”, where he imagines how they would be the Disney characters as real-world students. Since then he has been posting various modern-looking characters of our time in his social media, among them even the humanized version of the little Bambi and Simba of the Lion King.

by Ayoub Mask

Most Disney movies take place in a time where the fashion used to be much more conservative and considerably better looking than any of the fashion trends we have today.

We’re used to seeing Disney princesses in gorgeous long dresses that originate from a more traditional time and Disney prince's also wore the male equivalent of that. But what if we put them all in a time machine and send them to the future where they can dress in modern clothing that is totally different and unorthodox from what they're used to?

That’s exactly what a brilliant artist who goes by the username hyung86 did, but he added a little twist to it, all the characters are now in college and dressed accordingly.

20+ One-Picture Horror Stories That We Do Not Recommend Reading Alone
This September a slew of horror greats are going to scare you using only a single image in “Behind You: One-Shot Horror Stories”, from IDW Publishing.

In stores September 19th, the book Begun as a webcomic in early 2015, with the series amassing fans including the likes of Joe Hill, Ramsey Campbell, and Neil Gaiman. In fact, Hill is currently writing the book’s introduction!

A twisted figure crawling out of a tunnel. A giggling crowd of masked watchers. A reassembling corpse. What could be behind you, just waiting for you to turn around?

From Brian Coldrick, an illustrator and artist originally from Dublin, Ireland, “Behind You: One-Shot Horror Stories” is an illustration series, a comic with no panels, where each piece is essentially a separate story. Each tale is one image and one piece of text; an unsuspecting victim with someone, or something, behind them. Entries range from the amusingly weird to the genuinely unsettling. Inspired by spooky films, books, myths, and Internet tall tales, Behind You is full of scary set-ups but leaves lots of blanks for the reader to fill in with their own narrative.
Irish illustrator Brian Coldrick has created a series of one-panel GIFs and illustrations in his book “Behind You: One-Shot Horror Stories.”

Each image shows a monster hiding just in arms reach, along with darkly humorous one-sentence captions. Brian told us that although none of his short tales are direct adaptations of existing stories, they do touch on “well worn horror tropes.”

With a style all his own, these murky pictures have a charm you can't ignore. The artist said he uses a hand..

Robert De Jesus has made a name for himself by offering a service that works similar to the street artists who caricature people on the spot. Except that you don’t have to leave your house and this artist doesn’t draw caricatures, he just references the photos. So if your hand-drawn portrait is an exaggerated or humorous version of what you see in the mirror, you should probably turn to that mirror once more.

This American self-taught illustrator, animator and writer makes exceptional cartoon-like sketches based on people’s photos. He is no stranger to the anime and manga community, which combined with solid experience in illustrations and character design results in a unique style.

“The idea hit me while at one convention,” DeJesus told Bored Panda. “The official convention badges they wore reminded me of drivers licenses, and I thought why not make a mock license and draw the owner as a Chibi character in the spot where their photo would normally go. I designed a badge, bought a laminator, and at the next convention they were a huge hit.”

These ‘anime-treatments’ were originally a side thing to fund the projects the artist was passionate about, and he still does custom portrait commissions on his eBay store.

44 Satirical Cartoons That Depict The Unexpected Evolution Of Humans
Who doesn't know Charles Darwin? And if you don't then let me tell you that he is known for his groundbreaking book, “On The Origin Of Species,” published in 1859. The book promotes science and convincingly argued the theory of species evolution. Evolution, as you know, take many forms, more than you can think and sometimes it's ironical. Just like a coin has two sides so does evolution. But the question is did we get worse or did we get better? Have we become enslaved by the technology or advanced it? So we will leave that for you to decide as we have collected some of the most satirical comics on the unexpected evolution of the human species that are thought-provoking as well as funny! Have a look.

Artist Illustrates Most Intense Love Story About A Soap Bar And It’s Awkwardly Fascinating
You must have seen a lot of weird comics, but this is the weirdest thing you’d ever come across.

In this comic, the artist has depicted how a soap bar fell in love with his master and apparently, soaps are “humans” too! They feel, and not just that, they have a jealousy factor in them too when you replace them with a new soap or a handwash. Sounds weird, right? Well, that’s why the aliens won’t talk to us.

But on the bright side, this is hilarious and interesting. So check it out!

Illustrator Fran Krause asked people to tell him their weirdest and most irrational fears to turn them into witty comics. Sometimes these irrational fears can be traced from the early childhood memories or come as a result of some vivid world explanations grown-ups used to tell you. But sometimes, however, they are just inexplicable. The project, which started with Krause‘s own phobias, now features comics of more than a hundred of craziest and darkest fears readers sent him. When reading through the comics, you can see that even though your fears might be silly, they aren‘t that uncommon.

New Zealand-based media designer Anjana Iyer searched through languages around the world for various interesting words that have no direct translation into English and attempted to capture their meanings with refined and humorous illustrations. The posters from her “Found in Translation” project provide literal explanations of the words’ meanings as well.

The tongue-in-cheek illustration series is part of the “100 Days Project”, a web-based platform that invites various aspiring and acknowledged artists to repeat their chosen creative activity for 100 days, documenting their results on the project’s site. Iyer is almost half-way through, so once you check out what she’s already come up with to explain the untranslatable, make sure to follow her and see what else she creates!

Falling in love is something we all do someway or rather somehow in our lives. for those of us who have at one point, its clear that there are tons of emotions one goes through that could never quite be explained. Well, that's the whole point tho' from feeling butterflies to feeling a magical connection with the other party and being completely powerless to the power of love. One thing is clear tho', its the most beautiful feeling in the world.it feels even more heavenly if the feeling is mutual.

For those who don't understand what the above paragraph is all about, this one's for you. Heong Jeoung, a Korean based artist might give a clue as to how magical it feels to fall in love and probably live happily ever after. painted with such gentleness and skill, these adorable fine arts will send a shiver of warm feeling every time you look at them.

Funny Literal Illustrations Of English Idioms And Their Meanings
Idioms That Make No Sense When Translated Into English Illustrated By Paul Blow.

You can learn the grammar and the new words of a foreign language pretty well, but there will always be these phrases which simply defy all logics and seem like a complete mishmash of words to a non-native speaker.

Award-winning illustrator Paul Blow has visualized 11 of these idioms for the stationery supplier’s “Viking” ad campaign. From bears tied to one’s back to surfing on sandwiches, these common expressions in their mother tongue sound completely bonkers in English.

I bet you know more idioms which can’t be translated into English… So feel free to share them in the comments!

Roisin Hahessy moved from Ireland to Brazil and realized that translated verbatim, some English sayings are extremely silly. She even illustrated them! It happened to her when she was learning a new language and teaching English. Hahessy picked several of the most common for her drawings. I find myself partial to “Bob’s your uncle”, even if it is comparatively rare. Unlike “hold your horses”, which is more often associated with the English speakers on the other side of pond.

Roisin Hahessy is an Irish illustrator now living in Brazil. Her style is colorful and whimsical, and somewhat sketch-like. Looking at her portfolio, you’d think she’s cool as a cucumber!

Heartbreaking Doodles That'll Make You Laugh, Cry, Or Probably Both
These cute illustrations by Ben Cameron might seem adorable at first, but don't trick yourself... these will break your heart.

What started 4 years ago as a simple doodling to conquer boredom at a job he hated, has now turned into a full-fledged book Ben called Tragidoodles: "If I didn't hate working there so much, I wouldn't have carried around scraps of paper to draw stupid things to amuse myself and colleagues. I wouldn't be doing this now," he told the Mirror.

The book is packed with “101 drawings that will break your heart”, and those aren't just empty words, these cute illustrations really do strike deep.

You can show Ben some love by getting his book from Amazon or snatching separate prints from Etsy.

We all adore animated movies because every possible kind of magical event can occur in them. One of the most obvious manifestations of this magic is the fact that talking animals appear in so many of them.
Bright Side took it upon themselves to answer the puzzling question: What would the animal characters in our favorite animated movies look like if they were people?

Many contemporary artists use Disney characters for various other purpose and so far we have seen our beloved Disney characters in variety of alternative scenarios and styles, such as raising awareness about problems of our world and Disney characters living in modern times, while some artists use to ruin our childhood.

The latest Disney makeover to catch our eye is the work of Portland-based artist Heather Theurer. She creates incredible fairytale-inspired oil portraits that look like classic masterpieces from the 19th century Pre-Raphaelites movement.

Theurer describes her work as “a gateway into the reality of your imagination,” which is certainly the case when looking through her impressive portfolio. Each painting not only physically resembles a real-life version of each character, but it also captures the narratives from the books and films they star in.
