Not much to say, other than the video did corrupt on me, making it harder to render this; I actually had to re-record the video that would play, up until it became corrupt. Thankfully, I record in MKV whenever I get the choice.

Not much to say other than sorry that it crashed three/four times. The PC I was using was in no way suitable for the task I put it to.

P:PRTX is an amazingly beautiful game, with the focus being on ray-tracing, and still making the game fun and playable. Unfortunately, this means that the core aspect of the game, gameplay, is somewhat lacking. I especially hated the fact that the story was censored, albeit in word only. I don't appreciate censorship in my games, movies, television, or any other form of consumable media. The fact that this has to be addressed is, by its very nature, ridiculous. That said, that is my biggest complaint with regards to P:PRTX, overall. Second to that is that I personally wouldn't have chosen Portal: Prelude for the RTX Remix contestant; because Portal: Prelude isn't even my favorite Portal fanmod.

After what was Portal with RTX, Portal: Prelude with RTX aims to make better the RTX Remix genre of games. The question is: can it? P:PRTX, being the mascot of, not only Valve at this point, but of Nvidia now, it needs to be successful to be worth the time and effort put into it. That isn't to discount the work put in by a team of dedicated fans, but it is to say that, in a world of disappointing games, Portal should always be a shining beacon of what gaming is all about.

"Worthy" is an Achievement in Distance, which is probably the last one you will achieve, if you plan on playing it logically. "Worthy" requires you to get quite a few prerequisites, including but not limited to: skill; finding things that are not intuitive; and making your way through ridiculously hard trials. This one isn't for the posers, nor the boys: this is for the men.

Distance is a racing game, very much akin to TrackMania, but in space. Distance is by far the most fun racing game I've ever played. I'm also hoping that Distance for PS5 will one day exist, as it always should have. Now, I did mention about the "Other Side", which I did make a video for: https://www.bitchute.com/video/dXRSFq4o2ykJ/

Nitronic Rush is a great, free indie game that's still available today, but isn't exactly available for all. If you have an Xbox 360 controller or controller converter, have at it; and have fun. If not, it'll be an excercize in frustration, more than anything else to get it working. That said: http://nitronic-rush.com/download-game/

Also, I am never apologizing about the minecraft joke at the start of this video. I don't actively hate minecraft, but like my distaste for metric, I don't see how anyone could seriously like either one; that is well and truly beyond my understanding.

Struggling is a co-op physics-based game that challenges the practicality of the principal of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Here, you play as the amalgam, abomination, Troy. This game is one hell of a ride, whether you're playing it by yourself, or with someone that claims to be your "friend". If Struggling will teach you anything, it's that no-one can be trusted: not even you.

Kao the Kangaroo is a game. The simple fact of the matter is that this game is in no way the best, by any stretch of the word. I honestly, truly believe that Kao has been metaphorically exhumed from the grave, specifically to compete with Super Lucky's Tale: a highly superior game; and it failed on every front, as far as I can see. When your game can't even beat the game its ripping off, you shouldn't be making said game.

If you are going to buy this game, do yourself a favor: try to buy it on sale.

Proteus is an example of how something as simple as art can be challenged and bastardized into an argument of whether or not something is good, solely based on surface-level understanding; or not having the patience to appreciate the art. Today, Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, Proteus is officially ten years old, and is quite the game to look at. On the surface, one would probably figure it's an interactive screensaver, which isn't wrong, but does sell the game short. Join me, as I have a look at this wonderful "anti-game".

A good friend of mine got me a belated Christmas gift, this PlayMobil Back to the Future Set. I'm actually really pleased with it, and am very appreciative to him for it.

While I'm not big on the whole stickers on the models thing, I kind of see where they were coming from. I'll be honest, I really only don't care for them, because I'm not very good at putting them on straight or even good. Still, with how small some of the stickers are, even if it's put on badly, they'll never really be noticed; at a glance, anyway.

Portal with RTX is a mod for Portal, made by Nvidia Lightspeed Studios; it uses RTX Remix, which is the latest and most intensive version of Ray-Tracing. At present, it isn't really better than the original Portal, as far as performance; but it is a substantial graphical upgrade. I can't recommend Portal with RTX, simply because of how early the project is, but if you have an RTX card, I'd say giving it a shot couldn't hurt; but it won't boot if you don't have an RTX card. So, this is not worth going out and buying an RTX card for this "game".

Metric is a weird system that isn't welcome in my opinion. I don't care for metric distances, metric volume, metric area, metric time, or even metric temperature. In this video, I hope to elaborate on what exactly it is that I like about the Imperial system, and why I believe that it is the better of the two systems.

Also, just think about this: if the French hadn't messed up and gotten the inch too big, metric may well never have even happened; especially as it is.

I also think it's hilarious that the metric loyalists rely on a system that was invented by people that actually say for 97 (translated) "four twenties, ten and seven" (French, yes really) instead of "nine tens and seven" (English), or "seven and nine tens" (German).

Sky Odyssey (not to be confused with some minecraft mod, coincidentally of the same name) is a brilliant flight simulator for the PlayStation 2. Sky Odyssey is one of my favorite PS2 games, and making this review, I've only gained more respect for it. There's nothing quite like it.

I really like this demo. Unfortunately, I was unaware of this mod for a while, so I'm quite late to this party. Anyway, I really like the demo, and where the direction it's taking. That said, it hasn't been updated since the original release, source code and all. What I don't like about it is the amount of motion blur there is; but that's probably down to the game engine's defaults. Also, no hovering. Still, this is basically "version one", so I really can't complain. Klonoa: Dream Chapter is good, for what it is.

Truthfully, this game could have been a lot harder to Platinum, if they made you play through the Survival mode, which is already in the game. That could have made this take easily several hours, or just make it impossible for some players of the game.

I hope that one day, this will no longer be necessary. A while ago, back when I uploaded the gameplay of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, I promised to show you how I downconverted the HDR source videos to SDR, to be able to upload the video here, without it looking "washed out" or just "wrong". Here is my method!

Incidentally, Back Again is one of those ~40 minute games to get the Platinum Trophy. It's really fun, and definitely worth a play, especially if you want the Platinum. It's only $2.99, for both PS4 and PS5; which do not share Trophies. So, that's one game, on two consoles, for one price, which playing it twice, gets you two Platinums, for $3, in under one hour of gameplay. How can you go wrong?

Klonoa: Phantasy Reverie Series, one of the games I was actually really excited for in 2022, gets its review.

I will say, after editing this review, I still think that 9/10 is kind of high, for being a non-PS5, PS5 game. I do have to keep reminding myself that this is a PS4 game, with a PS5 release. I'm not that annoyed about much in this game; more of salty that K:PRS is being treated like GTA:DE. That seems to be the direction that the no-name, no reputation developers want to take gaming now. I can't say I understand, nor appreciate it; but that's how it is, for now. I still believe this game is worth a 9/10 or better, but I can't help but be a little disappointed in K:PRS. I really wanted this to be a 10/10, right out the gate, and seriously considered taking the rating lower, but I decided on 9/10 for the simple fact that Monkey Craft was actually trying. They brought some fixes, so they can't be all bad. When I'm made aware of this game being what it should have been at launch, I'll gladly re-review this game, and give it the 10/10 it will then deserve; but if that doesn't happen, then so be it.

Rain is a game that I'd have to recommend to anyone that has an interest in puzzle, platforming, or story-driven games. Rain is definitely a game to be appreciated. It's an easy, fun, complete game that anyone should be able to get into.

This game, while it didn't actually take that long, was super stressful to actually platinum. I do not recommend it, especially if you're not that good at puzzle games to begin with.

(Because I wasn't recording any of this on the PS5, or my external capture card, no 4k60.)

One of my latest songs before I really transitioned into metal. Not impressive, I know, but the point if this song was never to be hard; it was to be strange, and break how songs were supposed to be played.

Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/n4gtnjquefdxt3m/Valley.7z/file

This song also predates even the first versions of Clone Hero, if I recall correctly. I never actually knew this would be a thing on anything other than Phase Shift.

One of my proudest achievements at the time, this record has been beaten twice, and shows the reckless, careless nature of Rock Band; although more specifically, Blitz. I congratulate the people that beat my scores, and hope that you feel the same level of achievement as I did, when I beat that someone else's.

I'm not that big on high-score world records and the like; I really just don't care. I did this because I knew the exploit hadn't been exploited as far as possible, and just decided to go for it. I beat the previous record by 30,250 points, and that's really nothing, when dealing in 2,000,000. I think the record now is around 2,700,000, which is substantial.

Klonoa is a game series that I've always loved, from the first time I played the demo, back when I was a child. I really appreciate everything that went into this game series, and I understand that, while not a game developer myself, there's time, money, effort; but most of all, love that goes into making a truly great game; Klonoa is such a game.

In this video, if you're only interested in getting the American ROM to work without audio glitches, you'll only need to watch until 1:30. If, however, you want to use the Popka Jump (in the emulator), watch till the end. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I really don't understand why the developers necessitated a second controller for this, but they did. I also asked on PSX-Place if this was possible on original hardware, but even now, almost three months later, I still don't have a single reply to my thread. See for yourself!

I really can't over-recommend this power supply; even for the age that these tend to be, they're solid, dumb units that just do the job that's being asked of them. They're great for powering car cigarette lighter port items, if you have the appropriate adapter (or built one, like I did), or for lighting with 12v DC LEDs. There are plenty more uses for them, but I'm not here to tell you every use case; more of just how to build it.

The process is actually ridiculously simple, with a bit of soldering being the hardest part. This is a great project for any beginner inventor/tinkerer; and it's not that expensive either (especially if you're building more than one).
