A quick response that I've been meaning to do for some time. I can't produce content requiring thorough research as often as I would like (and the video I have been working on got way out of hand), so I am experimenting with response videos, such as this one, to fill in the gaps. I know, a lot of people spread these nonsensical ideas about the meanings of the words above, and I only pick on this gentleman because he's the first who came up in a search. I know I'm being mean, but this widespread inanity needs to be quashed. It does not make sense to say that a hypothesis "becomes" a theory. *Where do theories come from? Human minds.*

Yes, I know these definitions are widespread, to the point that they're on Wikipedia and in many dictionaries. YES, I AM SAYING THEY ARE ALL WRONG.

Biological sex is an observable phenomenon, and no threat to the acceptance of trans people. Rather, it's the denial of biological facts which presents a significant, needless obstacle to this laudable goal.

I thought I would attempt to revisit this topic in more depth as a way of returning to this platform. It ran away from me, a bit. In fact, I'm not even done: I wanted to cover the nonsensical claim that "sex follows a binomial distribution", but I decided to save that for later. In the course of making it, not only did I realize just how much I have left to discuss, I also fell down a research rabbit-hole which will provide a surfeit of grist for the content mill. Not all of it will be about science—I have myriad passions, and hope to share them exhaustively. Thank you for watching, and expect a lot more to come.
