I have been recently been playing around with SpyroEdit for some races with other people for a tournament (International Spyro Grand Prix) and notice there was an online tab. Me and a few others started to test it out and see what kind of things are possible with it and the results are surprising.

This is too cool to not show a little bit of. More to come soon.

This is an abridged version of the last 2 parts of my playthrough of Cortex Forgots Back. Unfortunately due to audio levels, it may be hard to hear us talking. This was an error on my part and there's no way to fix it in post. Enjoy!

This is more or less a showcase of some of the shaders you can use in ePSXe using Pete's OpenGL2 GPU plugin. Some of these shaders can be customized through one of the shader files using something such as Notepad.
You can find the shaders shown in this video here: http://www.pbernert.com/html/gpu.htm#SHADER

Dank, green and full of bullfrogs, you might need to light a fire to see by.

A precarious network of mountain caverns dug out of the rock that surrounds these crags. There are unpleasant surprises to be found in the depths of these dark holes, but much treasure too, if you can find a way out of the web...

Pick your way between the clumps of swamp; but watch out for the plants - they're a bit carnivorous! The frogs can give you a nasty croak too.

Specializing in the making of magic artifacts, the Magiccrafters' produce is valued highly throughout the rest of the Dragon Realms. As you might expect, the Magiccrafters are full of mystery and can play a little hard to get. It's a long way down in this mountain region, so you'll need to know how to get around all those crags and pinnacles. And if that isn't enough, the place is crawling with devious wizards who'll raise the earth to block your path and set some very big Gnorcs on you.

The Dream Weaver dragons have one of the most enviable jobs in the world; they travel through the dreams of the mortal inhabitants of the Dragon Realms, making sure no-one's nightmare gets too scary. Unlike other Kingdoms, these portals literally send you into those dreams. As you'd expect from the realm of dreams, there's a great deal of magic flying around here. Gnorcs change size as if they've been struck by lightning, there are jesters that turn into egg timers...

A bizarre set of caverns with an interesting system of interior lighting - you switch the lights on, but don't expect them to stay on too long!

Railroad tracks, biplane aces and an inland cove full of treasure chests. This is the first of the flying levels and there's a little problem. You don't have much time to pick up all the goodies.

The buildings in the Beast Makers kingdom are almost entirely made of natural materials, with wooden stockades, log cabins and hollowed out tree trunks providing shelter from the swamp weather. However, this place is full of electricity, and the Gnorcs have wired the floor with it!

Gnasty really does have a motley bunch of cut-throats at his disposal. Armed to the teeth with their cutlasses and automatic slug shooters, you'll have to charge in all nostrils blazing... but remember to take cover - Gnasty's army is equipped with dragon-piercing bullets.

Voodoo man, Doctor Shemp is out to put a curse on Spyro. You'll have to catch him before he makes a voodoo doll with his name on it.

Another flight, but this time amongst crystal peaks. The water is a lot colder if Spyro crashes. . . and you have less time in which to complete it.

The air is very thin up here and the grass seldom has chance to grow. Especially with the abominable beasts Gnasty has grazing here.

The Peace Keepers Kingdom covers the desert to the south of the Artisans Kingdom across the ocean. Thick-skinned, muscular dragons with great strength and spotted markings, the Peace Keepers are the most war-like of all the dragons. This place has been overrun by ugly, gringo "Orcs" (Peace Keeper's name for Gnorcs), cannon stokers and cowardly musketeers.

Turrets and courtyards, wells and trickling springs. Stone Hill is as lush as the Artisans Kingdom comes.

Populated by unshaven Gnorcs with cloaks and daggers, Cliff Town is a place where a dragon's gotta do what a Clint would normally do. The gringo Gnorcs here are heat-resistant so only a charge will do, but their big mamas don't seem to like the heat.

Only when you've collected all the treasure and released all the dragons in the game will Spyro be able to get at Gnasty's Loot. . . but it'll be worth it. This level frees Spyro's abilities like no other before it, you can roam on foot or fly in the air at will.

The Beast Makers dragons live in a kingdom covered with swamps and teeming with life. They create it, making all the different species that live in the Dragon Realms. The Beastmasters are quiet dragons who like to keep themselves to themselves. Gnasty Gnorc has filled the place up with some pretty bizarre Gnorcic creations of his own, and they all seem to have very large mouths... genetic engineering the Gnasty way.

Blowhard has got his weather wizards to get the wind up. And the storms. . . and the lightening. Spyro must stop Blowhard's cyclonic ways before he causes an avalanche.

Gnasty had borne a grudge against the dragons ever since they banished him to the Dragon Junkyard. The Gnorc who never washed was a worldwide resentment specialist, and as soon as he got to the junkyard, he started planning his revenge. Even the dragons would admit that Gnasty is not without brains, and he turned his devious mind to the study of magic. . . his intentions were entirely dishonourable. Eventually, after a couple of failed experiments during which he managed to enlarge his warts by a factor of three, Gnasty hit on a potion that would make his fortune. For a big, fierce gnorc, Gnasty plays very hard to get. You can see him, but getting close enough to flame him is not so easy, especially when all he does is run away. Perseverance and raw speed should help Spyro get through to the final showdown, as will some nifty jump n' glide skills.

Hello, dessertmonkeyjk here. I post walkthroughs, playthroughs, and a number of other things. Mostly walkthroughs of old video game platformers though. You'll find that I treat the content on here as whatever I personally find interesting enough to share.

A lot of content was posted originally on Youtube around 2009-2015 and may be of low quality by today's standards. You can think of this channel as a second home for it in case things go south for no good reason.
