High King Ragnar DeTortor has received a prophetic vision from Akatosh or Azura, but probably Sheogorath, of a time of great upheaval. In the coming days the Thalmor of the Sommerset Isles will take over the Empire through bloody conquest and begin a reign of tyranny where the worship of the Empire's Progenitor God Talos himself will be outlawed and the people of Skyrim will be persecuted in their own lands. Skyrim herself has become overrun with banditry, weakened from centuries of reliance on the Empire. Thus, High King Ragnar has decreed it his holy mission to restore Skyrim to glory to stop these dark days from coming to past. But first Necromancers and Bandit Lords must be cleared from the realm.
