When did Bin Laden die and was he really responsible for 911 ?

Originally appeared in a banner ad on an Islamic militant website regularly used by Al-Qaeda on September 6, 2007. The ad carried a picture of Osama bin Laden and the logo of Al-Qaeda’s media production company As-Sahab. An accompanying translated message read “Soon, with the permission of God, a new visual tape, the Sheikh, the Lion, Osama bin Laden. May God protect him.”1
The timing of the video’s release coincided with the sixth anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the United States. Bin Laden’s previous appearance in a video was in 2004.

By September 7, 2007, US authorities had managed to obtain a copy of the video, even though it had not been officially released.

Several peculiarities in the video raise questions regarding its authenticity:

Osama bin Laden sports the trimmer, blacker beard and the same clothing he wore in the 2004-10-29 video.
The video freezes at about 1 minute and 58 seconds, and motion only resumes again at 12:30.
The video then freezes again at 14:02, and remains frozen until the end.
All references to current events, such as the 62nd anniversary of the US atomic bombing of Japan, and Sarkozy and Brown being the leaders of France and the UK, respectively, occur when the video is frozen.
The words spoken when the video is in motion contain no references to contemporary events and could have been made before the US invasion of Iraq.
It is claimed that the facial features of the person in the video do not correspond to those of the known Osama bin Laden.

The original videotape delivered to Al-Jazeera was a full 18 minutes long. But the station created an edited-down five-minute version, which is the clip that they aired.

There are three different English translations of the portion of the tape that was broadcast on Al-Jazeera. They are not identical. All three translations are given below.

At the time this page was originally created, it was not yet known what was on the 13-minute portions of the tape that Al-Jazeera did not broadcast, but a glimpse at the content of the missing segments was revealed in an article published in a small newspaper in Kerala State in southern India.

"To the American people, my talk to you is about the best way to avoid another Manhattan, about the war, its reasons and its consequences .. I tell you: Security is an important element of human life, and free people do not give up their security. Unlike what Bush says that we hate freedom, let him tell us why didn't we attack Sweden, for example.

It is known that those who hate freedom do not have dignified souls, like those of the 19 blessed ones. We fought you because we are free ... and want to regain freedom for our nation. As you undermine our security we undermine yours.

Even as you enter the fourth year after the Sept. 11 attacks, Bush is still misleading and deluding you and hiding the real reason from you. Consequently, there are still reasons to repeat what happened. I will tell you about the reasons behind these attacks and will tell you the truth about the moments during which the decision was made, for you to contemplate.

God knows that it had not occurred to our mind to attack the towers, but after our patience ran out and we saw the injustice and inflexibility of the American-Israeli alliance toward our people in Palestine and Lebanon, this came to my mind.
