Several days ago there was a discussion on distilled water.
It was a big debate and I wanted to read it but not sure where it is. My holistic practitioner said to only drink distilled but there seemed to be a lot of negative comments. I’d love some advice or links etc if possible. I’m spending a small fortune on buying distilled water.

I don't think anyone needs to fear demineralization from distilled water while on comprehensive mineral program with a skilled Health Coach customizing healing protocols for clients. Many other things are far stronger demineralizers (such as Reverse Osmosis).

And in the way of food…Leafy greens, and green smoothies, and the biggest one? COFFEE.

A lot of people are just repeating nonsense over this issue, based on the fact that "the science" shows that yes, when people start on distilled water, they "lose" more minerals than they take in.

Because detoxing unneeded excess minerals is GOOD.

I’ve been drinking distilled water since I was 18. I'm 52. I developed arthritis far more from cortisol (stress) and alcohol and mercury fillings than from distilled water.

I still drink distilled water, and my arthritis is a distant memory. How could I possibly have remineralized and cured my arthritis with drinking distilled water, and drinking green smoothies, if distilled water created substantially dangerous demineralization? The answer is that distilled water has almost nothing to do with demineralizing us to a dangerous amount. Detoxing is good, and taking minerals is good, and clean distilled water is good.
