If only the Flame Sword were quicker and more powerful... I think the slow speed and low damage dealt by this weapon in MMM is considered a feature and not a bug (and admittedly, this is how it works in MM8) by the dev team. That said, it's still a lot of fun to use in this level with some interesting platforming challenges. Thanks for sending me the level BCRC 03!

During my first playthrough of this stage, I wondered at first why the level had a -2 score. The stage looked great and the enemy setups were pretty well done in the first section. Then, I reached the first (and only one before the room next to the boss fight) checkpoint and there was this MASSIVE spike in difficulty. There was also a spot with the Sniper Joe where you were forced to take damage. Lastly, the screen shown in the video thumbnail can give players a scare since the spike is right there when the screen transitions. While the challenges were mostly pretty fair, introducing them in a more gradual manner would have made for a better experience along with 1 more checkpoint. I still gave the level a thumbs-up off-camera because I really did appreciate all that went into making it, but wanted to give some constructive criticism. Bomb Man Perfect Remake by DOCTOR LUMEN

With the release of MMLV Editor, it's now possible to re-create levels from the classic Mega Man games much more accurately than with MMM's built-in level builder. MMLV Editor is a program created by SN0WFLAKES (whose levels have been featured on my channel previously) to allow tiles to be manually placed in a level file which allows visual possibilities for levels not possible with MMM's level builder.
With the exception of a few enemies and one small part of the tileset, this is as accurate to the original Bomb Man stage from Mega Man 1 as is possible in MMM. What do you guys think? What level should I recreate next?

Croby has shared the latest version of his mod for MMM with me and this level showcasing what's in it. I really like the yoku spikes and the semi-solid platforms in this mod. The buffs to the enemies and bosses are pretty solid too. That fight against Skull Man by himself is pretty tough! Nice job Croby and keep up the good work with the mod!

OK. So, when you build a level that tries to force the player to use a specific weapon for a specific platforming challenge but don't create proper setups to take away other weapons, you get opportunities for cheese. Even if it doesn't allow for true cheese, I just like the idea of being able to keep a weapon a level designer didn't want me to have.

Occupied Wily 1 Remake from Mega Man Unlimited by DOCTOR LUMEN

I've realized that the first stage of the fortress in any Mega Man game is what defines that game to me. If the first stage of a fortress is bad, there's almost nothing the later stages can do to make up for it.
Here, I've decided to remake Wily 1 from Mega Man Unlimited since I was playing that game recently. I had to make lots of substitutions obviously, but feel like I've captured the spirit of the stage here. What do you think? This is a bit easier than the original in MMU, but still has plenty of challenges.
So far, I've done remakes of the first fortress stages from MM2, MM6, MM10, and now this. Should I try remaking the first fortress stage from every game in the classic series? Leave a comment please!

I found this on the 'Most Popular' levels list tonight online. Pretty nicely done. I feel that this is a stage that would benefit from having a 'Hard Mode' version since a lot of the platforming challenges are pretty easy. I liked the aesthetic of the stage overall. Nice job.

I took a bit of time away from making videos during Holy Week and Easter, but now I'm back with a new level from GAMEFOX! This was quite a challenge in the final section. You simply have to memorize when and where to shoot and how to not get killed while maneuvering between the changing rains. Otherwise, that section is absolutely brutal. I also left in the deaths right after the teleporters to show that this level isn't really possible to do deathless (unless you're really luckly). That said, this stage gets huge points for creativity. I really liked the different challenges based around the Screw Crusher. The two sections with Megaman are a lot of fun and the different rooms to fight Bubbleman in are very interesting.
