I slowly lose my sanity trying to emulate my first intel PC, and IBM PS1 in PCem.

I encounter an issue with getting the hard disk to work, and this post:

helped a little, but the hard task was finding the actual download for XT IDE, which I did at:
https://code.google.com/archive/p/xtideuniversalbios/downloads

It is still not working right, but I may just emulate a more modern system now like a 486 and play with that in the future.
It has taken me 3 weeks to get around to edit this after recording it, as all of my nostalgic feelings for the system are kind of gone for this instance of it. Maybe one day I will get hold of the actual hardware, but until then, think I will leave the 286 PS1 project alone.

Hello Retro lovers

This is a quick introduction to explain this video. You Don't Know Jack was released in 1999 when I bought my copy after playing with some university friends. It does not work in 64 bit windows, so in this video, after installing a 32 bit XP virtual machine, and getting sound pass-through to work with remote desktop, I tested a game live on stream. There Some audio glitches, but it is good enough to play for the first time in a decade. One of the fun things to do in this game is to not choose your own name, or the categories when asked because of the banter and insults of the virtual host.

My first proper play of Xeno Crisis. I never played smash TV, so this is really my first exposure to this type of game play, and its pretty addictive. I did try with the keyboard before this recording, and I would recommend using a controller.

Following the previous video, looks like it was a PEBKAC error, I feel a little foolish. Enjoy the video, 7 Tim fireworks this time.

Playing round with the experimental build of fireworks Mania, found a way to get multiple Tim fireworks, (see https://youtu.be/dqzSqRtgHTg if you don't know what that is) and noticed a bug in the firework connection tool when trying to light them in sequence.

Looks like the audio issue with Some of the fireworks being silent is still there.

Having built an DOS EGA system this year, this seemed like a good idea for #DOScember. It's probablly not, but it seemed like a good one.
So enjoy a Space Quest V play through like no other, in 16 colour EGA.
Sound is from a ESS soundcard, and the music is general midi through a Roland Sound Canvas II.

Most of this was streamed on twitch, and even had people watching.

There were a few bugs, and crashes. The main one being an inventory bug where I lost everything needed to complete the game, but didn't notice till later.
This was resolved by digging through backups and finding and old bunch of save games from which I could continue from the point the stream ends.
