I wrote a sad song for a friend I don't get to see. I found it in an old email I sent myself. I've come to accept that friendships occupy a specific space and time. At the moment of this photo, this was one of my best friends. In a speck of nostalgia, I pulled these memories to remind myself of how much friendship and connection really mean to me. I accept that this person is no longer in my life. The space and time we occupied has long passed but the memory is preserved in a spat of poetry. Contrary to the lyrics, I play this song often. Special thanks to @Robdevious for turning this into a soundscape I can vibe to. I hope you enjoy.

Part 5 of the Good Grief EP

I had this really cool idea for a music video for my song "Lost in Space". I spent all weekend drafting up the storyboard so I could pitch it to a production studio. I even applied for a part time job to help pay for it. (Today is actually my second day of work!)

The production studio got back to me and told me my idea was great. It would cost an estimated $17,532 to create however they would be willing to work with me for a discounted $15,000.

They told me "You get what you pay for."
I'm an independent artist. I don't have that kind of budget. So my friend Alex shot this in his room. To be completely transparent, this didn't cost me a penny. So now I have a part time job and a DIY music video :-)

I took a trip to my buddies cabin for the weekend and I caught a couple fish but this one I caught on camera.
It was a group effort.

Chopping wood is a way of life. We do what we have to to keep the fire lite. For now, this is as good as it gets.
