In January of 2022 I spent two weeks in Ottawa at the Freedom Convoy with thousands of other salt-of-the-earth Canadians. Everywhere I went in that city there was dancing, singing, hugging and laughing. The few tears I did see were those of joy and relief, even amidst unsettled times and the relentless sub-zero temperatures. In all my worldly travels I have never experienced anything quite like this incredible gathering of salty souls and what stood out most was the complete void of violence. That is until the hired, unmarked thugs showed up looking to bust skulls and that they did. Being that I was on crutches I did my best to avoid the more densely populated downtown areas and somehow managed to navigate my way clear of the “emergency” aggression. It’s hard to describe the helpless feeling of witnessing peaceful protestors being brutally assaulted mere feet in front of me while police drones circled and armed "observers" watched from elevated rooftop positions. The contrast of courageous, compassionate and educated citizens exercising their legal and god-given rights versus the violent, unwarranted cowardice of our so-called leadership was something to behold and it left a lasting impression. So the day I returned home, I sat down and wrote this song. This is both a memoir and an anthem for the oppressed, disillusioned and disenfranchised that illuminates truth while simultaneously exposes lies. I will not go quietly Mr. Prime Minister and yes, there are many more like me.

Heartbreak stings and dreamers fall hard but adversity breeds the strength, character and resilience necessary to get back on our feet, knock the dust off and get the hell away from things that no longer serve us.

A stripped down acoustic version of Holy lady: this song is about silencing the incessant chatter in your mind and going inward to draw on personal experience, intuition, and tap into the infinite creative source we all have access to, should we choose to listen.

This is my attempt to portray the struggle, inherent in any worthy endeavour. Although I've had questionable moments, I do not consider myself a "loser" and here is what I've learned so far: Do not be afraid to fail, repeatedly, and certainly do not concern yourself with what others think of you or your goals. If you aim high and true, firing with intention, you will undoubtedly hit your target, and perhaps land even closer to the mark than you ever thought possible.

Perhaps everything is exactly as should be, balancing in perfect harmony amongst chaos that gives meaning. Here are some shots and memories from along the way, what a ride!

I wrote this song while traveling abroad. Some of these places I've been while others I have yet to explore. Regardless, what a wondrous and magnificent planet we inhabit and most of all it's the beautiful and kind souls we meet along the way that really make it feel like home. Happy travels :)

Although time can be fleeting, it is also a gift, one that is healing. If we distort that gift, changing it for selfish purposes, it ultimately becomes destructive, treacherous, maddening, and a tool of our own demise.

Gravitate to what you love and love will gravitate to you.

Fear dissipates, tyrants rise and fall, secret societies are found out, lies are exposed and evil ultimately collapses inward, devouring itself. This is a critical time in human history where we can allow fear to render us immobile while the trajectory of our race, and planet, are determined by a greedy few, or we can remove ourselves from destructive patterns and toxic environments, leaning courageously into Love while moving consciously and collectively forward, helping lay the groundwork for a brighter future where Truth, Light and Love are the core foundation of our civilization. We’ve got this! Stay strong, carry on.

No matter the cost, struggle, or how high you must climb, so long as your goals and aspirations are firmly rooted in Truth, with a fundamental mission of helping those around you, dare not settle for anything less than your wildest dreams because not only will you attain them, but they are your destiny.

Like an air bubble rising from the ocean depth, Truth will always find its way to the surface no matter the depth of the lie. This is a dedication song to every lost soul caught in the wake of tyranny, violence, malevolence, racism, narcissism, anger, hate, greed, division, separation and fear. Moreover this is a warning to procurers of darkness and pathological deceivers that your day of reckoning is fast approaching as an awakening has begun.

In dedication to a good friend, son, brother and husband who left us way too early. We love you and miss you CP.
