Radio Drama #3 "The Summoner". A brief look at another cutscene sequence for "Hoard of the Dragon Queens" prologue adventure. These are custom radio dramas for my players to listen to during game play to either set up a scene, set the tone for the adventure or give a conclusion to our session. They often serve a variety of purposes.

The second of four major cutscenes/radio dramas in the prologue adventure for "Hoard of the Dragon Queen". This introduced the city of Kingston, and sets the tone and atmosphere for my players, as they prepare to enter the new metropolis.

HOTDQ Chapter One tips. Yep, this is what I learned! Hopefully these small tips will help you run the first chapter without running into the same problems I did. The "flooping" is real.

In this time-lapse video, we spend a little more time in the sketching phase, and highlight why its important to spend that extra time developing your ideas, before devoting hours into a larger map. I ended up changing my entire battle scenario with this latest thumbnail that, in the end, was a better idea then what I had originally started with.

Campaign Diary 2.5 is a quick look at some of the maps I'm prepping for Chapter 2 of "Hoard of the Dragon Queen". These maps were created using fan made maps, and put together in Tabletop Simulator using a mix of 2D and 3D elements.

In this time lapse video, I take the thumbnail from video 3, and apply different types of color to create three new samples to choose from. This is a great way to see your original sketch in new swatches of color, before settling on the final look of your design. Content was created using Sketchbook Pro 7, and a Wacom Cintiq.

First up, let me apologize for the quality of the video. Though the opening titles look great (since they were added later), the video of me rendered in lower quality. Trust me, they get better as the diaries continue. Camtasia was being a jerk that particular day.
