Recently I had the chance to operate a steam locomotive at the Pioneer Coal Mine in Ashland Pennsylvania for their Hands On The Throttle Experience. This was a fundraiser for their steam engine the Henry Clay, built in the 1920s, otherwise known as the "lokie". This engine was restored and lettered to the days when it was in operation by the Lehigh Valley Coal Company and was numbered the 123.

Here is what the eclipse looked like from my backyard in Berks County, Pennsylvania, at the moment of totality, which was roughly 93%. It's not the best of conditions, but at least I got to see it for a few seconds and grab some pics.

In the video I continue my exploration of the Perkiomen Trail where my video from October of 2023 left off. This time I will be riding from the Crusher road trail head outside of Perkiomenville down to Schwenksville and back. I do discover some remains of the railroad which was last used about 50 years ago.

In this video I'll be unpacking and assembling my latest purchase that I will be using in the warmer months to create content on the water.

In this video I am back up in Dunmore Pennsylvania to be the DJ and MC at a train show hosted by @BerniesModelRailroad. You could also say that this was a YouTube Meetup as some of my fellow content creators @rj78productions88 @mattPG78 @mrsmithnet @kieleighgirl @StantonsJourneys @dancriswell3392 were on hand. We also had @RBMN attending this show providing information about their 2024 excursions they will be having. This was a record-breaking show as we had 130 vendors and 836 people through the door.

This video has me and @JPVideos81 together again down in Phoenixville Pennsylvania to explore a bridge that I came across last year while riding the Schuylkill River Trail. This bridge built by the reading railroad and was a spur that came off of Reading's mainline across the Schuylkill River to service the Cromby Generating Station. In later years it was used by Conrail and Norfolk Southern. The bridge has not seen any rail traffic in well over 14 years and is still in pretty good shape for being built in 1955.

Warmer weather is finally here, and the snow has melted so that means it is time for a new season of videos. On the first day of meteorological spring, I head down to Phoenixville Pennsylvania to meet up with @JPVideos81, who made the trip down to my neck of the woods to check out a piece of railroad history with me. This abandoned tunnel also known as the Fairview Tunnel was built in 1884 and used by the Pennsylvania Railroad and later Conrail before being abandoned sometime in the 1980's. The tunnel is 809.75 feet long and is 24 feet 8 inches wide. The tunnel used to have two tracks in it but later it was reduced to only one track. Part of the ceiling has collapsed directly under Filmore Street.

The end of the year is upon us and thus brings an end to my videos for 2023. In this video myself and @rj78productions88 take a ride to Jessup Pennsylvania to visit the person who puts on The Great Northeast Model Train Show twice a year. And that is none other than Bernie of @BerniesModelRailroad. In the video you will see what he has to offer in his store and his small but very impressive model train layout. Check out his Facebook page for hours and specials.

This video brings myself @rj78productions88 and @adamtereska8734 to a Christmas display very close to my home. This display has been up for a number of years, and I finally had a chance to film it as well as get a behind the scenes look of the display. My thanks to the owner Mike for the tour.

Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday season. Thanks for the likes subscribes and collabs over the past year.

Myself and @rj78productions88 made the trip again this year up to northeast Pennsylvania to check out the Peckville Christmas House display. This year there were 3,000 blow molds on display. It was a great way to spend a Saturday night 2 days before Christmas. Be sure to check out the replay of RJ's live stream he did while we were there.

This video brings me up to Minersville Pennsylvania in Schuylkill County to see what is all involved in firing up a steam locomotive. This day was a learning experience for me as I never knew how much time and work is involved in getting a steam locomotive ready to run. Joining me in the video are @JamieMakin, @rj78productions88 and @PANortheasternRailfan. My thanks to Jamie for the invite and the crew of Project 113 for allowing me to climb around on the locomotive to get some great footage.

This video brings me to Perkasie Pennsylvania for the town's annual holiday train display put on by Doug Kramer. This display is held annually on the first Friday and Saturday in December in the Perkasie Borough electrical building. Admission is free but you can make a donation if you wish. This is Doug's personal display that he sets up every year for all to enjoy.

This video has me back at a location that I filmed 3 1/2 years ago. I am joined by my friend @mattPG78 to check out the graffiti bridge at Lake Ontelaunee with our drones and test out my new DJI mic that I got.
