People are receiving letters from the ESB informing them they are getting a smart meter (lucky them!). This is a call to ESB recorded early 2022 where the ESB clearly state a customer does not have to have the smart meter installed and can opt out.
Make sure you do opt out because once the smart meter is installed the standard response ESB give to a request to have it replaced with a standard mechanical meter is that they do not have them any more.

All we can say for sure about 5G enabled Galway City from this video is that the levels are in excess of 20,000uW... equal amounts of incredible and insane. I'll use a meter that can read much higher levels next time I do Galway.
