This personal journey finds "the farang" on a journey of discovery and acculturation as he leaves the Thai mega-city of Bangkok to provincial Thailand. There is an awakening and the catylst is the ancient, complex culture of the locals. We are lead through a re-birth as the complexities of the culture open up "the farang's" heart to a necessary, often overlooked pleasure in life - simplicity. Welcome to Desolation Angel (2009).

I am an audodact by nature, even though I have two advanced degrees. I love to learn even though I am a trained professor.
