Why have I never heard any American politician advocating to END WORLD HUNGER? We are the richest country in the history of the world afar all. Shouldn't the topic at least be on the table to talk about and to address? This is a Humanitarian Crisis After all.

I understand most people just work at a job and provide for themselves and there family, the average American does not have a large savings.
I am simply saying, that what we Americans have been taught to define as success, there has to be more to life than that, there has to be a greater purpose.
There has to be more to life than a 30 year mortgage and wanting a new $80,000 truck every 5 years.

How can we help poor starving children on the other side of the world?

Giving money to a charity is sometimes a waste of money in many cases because they want to spend a huge portion of it on a office and employees and marketing.

So how can we get as much food to poor starving children and make sure every penny is spent on food?
Obviously sending food from America to Haiti is to expensive for us average everyday Americans because of the shipping costs.
So Here is how we do it!

Step 1 - Find a orphanage in a poor part of the world.
Step 2 - Find a local grocery store or food wholesaler that can deliver.
step 3 - Place the order and have it delivered!

Tips: You should contact the orphanage 1st to make sure they
will receive the food donation. Also ask them to send you a picture of the delivered food once they receive it so you will then have a trusted food supply pipeline to poor orphans. Once you know that yo can trust the food supplier and they will provide you with picture or video proof, then you can send them to many many different nearby orphanages in the future.
Pro Tip: If you are serious about sending a lot of food, then look near the orphanage for a Food Wholesaler who can do a larger bulk order for a cheaper price than a local grocery store. Tell them that you are just trying to send food to the poor children in their community and they will understand the importance and power of what you are doing.

These precious children are impoverished.
Most have malnutrition.

Haiti is the poorest country in the world.
At 52% Haiti holds the world's highest rate of malnourished people.

In this village they make these mud cookies and they send them, millions of them, all over Haiti because there's that many children that are hungry.
They eat it all over Haiti.

They look a lot like pancakes or cookies, the recipe passed down from generations.

literally dirt being prepared for humans to eat on top of other dirt and filth.

Haitians call these mud cookies Tay.
Tay is made out of mud and bake it in the sun.
no child should have to eat Tay or the mud cookie to stay alive.

In Haiti, 6.7 million people do not have food everyday. 2013.
50% of the people live on less than $1 a day.
400,000 children live without parents.
soaring food prices force the Haitian people to eat mud cookies.
They are distributed all over Haiti.
The mud cookies cost $2 a basket.

No child should have to go to bed hungry and no child should have to go to bed thinking that eating dirt will kill the pains of hunger.

It's sold all over Haiti in all the markets.

Dirt cookies, a lot of children were raised on it.
They eat it.
It's just like chalk.
It has no nutritional value and, in fact, doctors have told us that children die from it because they can't pass it out of their stomach.

these children are desperate, It tears my heart out. I think everyone who sees this level of famine is heartbroken and wants to help.

What will somebody do to fill the hunger pains in their stomach?

People in a whole village are making thousands and thousands and thousands of these mud cookies for kids to eat all over Haiti.

That means that that's that many children that's hungry, that's eating this to fill the hunger in their stomach.

They go deep into the earth to find this dirt they believe has nutritious minerals.

The dirt is trucked into this huge slum and sold at an enormous markup to the women who pay about $5 a sack.
they say it comes from an area in the mountains and are convinced the dirt is rich in minerals and vitamins and if they don't have the money they're happy indeed eager to buy the dirt on credit.

If it rains or the Sun is blocked the cookies can't dry out and women actually end up owing money on the dirt they've purchased.

These little children are starving.

The scale of the humanitarian crisis in Pakistan is unprecedented, with a third of the country under water, UN humanitarians warned on Friday.

With more than 33 million people impacted, that represents 15 per cent of the total Pakistani population.

Some 6.4 plus million people are in dire need of humanitarian aid.

In the past few weeks, record monsoon rains dumped more than five times the 30-year average for rainfall in some provinces, killing more than 1,200 people and injuring over 6,000 since June. Nearly 400 children are among the fatalities.

21 to 25% of all children worldwide have had their growth permanately stunted.

Stunting in early childhood, especially in the first 1000 days from conception until two years of age impairs growth and adversely affect the functional development of the child.

Stunting is the impaired growth and development in children caused due to poor nutrition, recurrent infections, and lack of psychosocial stimulus. It is a primary indication of malnutrition and infections like diarrhoea, helminthiasis in early childhood and malnutrition during fetal growth caused by an undernourished mother.

What could be more important than making sure all children of this world are properly fed a nourishing meal?

Aiming to feed nearly 13 million of the most vulnerable people each month, WFP’s emergency response in Yemen is our largest anywhere in the world.

The current level of hunger in Yemen is unprecedented and is causing severe hardship for millions of people. Despite ongoing humanitarian assistance, 16.2 million Yemenis are food insecure. Pockets of famine-like conditions have returned to Yemen for the first time in two years in Hajjah, Amran and Al Jawf, where nearly 50,000 people are living in famine like conditions. Over 5 million people in Yemen are on the brink of famine as the conflict and economic decline have left families struggling to find enough food to get through the day.

The rate of child malnutrition is one of the highest in the world and the nutrition situation continues to deteriorate. A recent survey showed that almost one third of families have gaps in their diets, and hardly ever consume foods like pulses, vegetables, fruit, dairy products or meat. Malnutrition rates among women and children in Yemen remain among the highest in the world, with 1.2 million pregnant or breastfeeding women and 2.3 million children under 5 requiring treatment for acute malnutrition.

The humanitarian situation in Yemen is extremely fragile and any disruption in the pipeline of critical supplies such as food, fuel and medicines has the potential to bring millions of people closer to starvation and death. WFP calls for unimpeded access to reach those most in need and avert famine.
