As Christians, we should be placing all of our trust in our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ.
We can trust Him because He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Joseph, the son of Jacob (Israel), and the grandson of Abraham was sold into slavery by his older jealous brothers.
Potiphar, who was one of Pharaoh’s officials bought him.
Joseph earned his masters' trust and was soon over Potiphar's household.
Falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, he was thrown into jail.
Later, he became the ruler of the entire nation of Egypt.
God, knowing the things that would come, used the evil that people did to Joseph for good. When a great famine came, Joseph was in the position
to save his entire family.
God's providence is at work in the lives of every creature He's created.
His love, mercy, and forgiveness should be attributes we all strive for.

God was about to do something wonderful. He had picked Abram, a man in a land of idol worshipers, of the line of Seth, to bless in his old age with a child. His wife, Sarai, was barren and well past her years to have children.
Yet God chose this old couple to be the parents of Isaac. Isaac would be the father of many children and from descendants, the Messiah would be born.

As children of God, we should be aware that He not only prepared good works for us to do before He laid the foundations of the earth.
But, do we also know that He tests us often? These tests aren't to see if we pass or fail; He already knows the outcome.
No, He tests us so that we can see how strong our faith in Him is; and how strongly we trust His provision and providence in our lives.
Abraham had to deal with a test that, to us, would be unthinkable.
God asked, no, commanded him to take the son he and Sarah had in their old age and sacrifice him as a burnt offering.
Most of us know the outcome of that story, but do we know the parallels given in this story between Isaac and Jesus?
Join me as we study this fascinating Bible episode.

400 years before Moses received and wrote down the law which God had given to him, Abram, (Abraham), came into contact with a mysterious person who was the king of Salem. Scholars agree that Salem was, in fact, Jerusalem. But this king, King Melchizedek, was also a priest to "God Most High."
Under the commandments that God gave to Moses, priests would be men who were born into the tribe of Levi. Kings would later be of the tribe of Judah.
God commissioned the one to be the priests and the other to be kings. But this Melchizedek preceded that law. He held both positions. His priestly/kingly order came before the law of Moses and he held a much higher position than any other man up until the coming of Jesus Christ.

Noah was the tenth generation from Adam. In that time, billions of people were born. From the day Adam disobeyed God, the curse of sin was on him, his wife, and all of their descendants. In Noah's generation, evil had completely consumed the hearts and minds of everyone on the planet. Our God is holy and cannot nor will not abide sin. It must be judged. And judge He did. This Bible study brings to light many things that would escape the casual reader. Come and learn with us!

Because of their disobedience, God drove Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden. His Word is very clear on this; the soul that sins will surly die. What's more, the sin that entered into the hearts of Adam and Eve on that fateful day wormed it's way deep. From then til now, the root of sin has been and will be deeply embedded in our hearts until Jesus finally plucks it out completely. From Adam's first son, Cain, the curse of sin has been on every baby ever born. And, as Adam's and Eve's children multiplied across the face of the earth, so did sin. But take heart! The day will come when those who have surrendered to the will of God through Jesus Christ will return to that communion with God that the first couple enjoyed. Evil will be vanquished and sin will completely disappear forever.

Join me as we continue close on the heels of the creation story with Adam and Eve's fall. The sin of Adam and Eve in disobeying the Creator drove a wedge between them so that the communion they had enjoyed was destroyed. That communion that the first couple enjoyed with God will be recovered eventually. God's in control and all of His enemies will perish. Paradise will be recovered!

The center of the universe isn't the earth, and it certainly isn't mankind. God created all that is, all that was, and all that will ever be. On the sixth day of creation, He'd saved the best for last......man. But it's not about humanity, it's all about God. He created us for His great pleasure. He loves us and wants to spend eternity with us. His light is the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That light shines brightly within those who believe in Him. These are the people who have been declared by God to be a holy nation, a royal priesthood, and a people for His possession.

God created the earth, the moon, the stars, the galaxies, and the universe in six days.
His final, and crowning act in creation was to create mankind. Join me in exploring the Genesis story of our true origin.

Today, we start at the beginning in the Book of Genesis. Since COVID-19, all of its successors, and the reactions of those who would dictate our lives are ever forcing us to find alternative means of communicating the Word of God, the little country church I attend has decided to take our message online.

Shedding light on the Book of Revelation, we are given a glimpse of what heaven is going to be like.
We also see how the Lord Jesus Christ rides triumphantly back onto the surface of this world to make short, but deadly work of defeating the armies amassed near Jerusalem.
He will set up His kingdom on this earth and rule it for a thousand years.
Following that.....well, watch the video. You'll be glad you did.

In the 3rd chapter of the Book of Revelation, our Lord and Savior completes His dictation of the letters to the seven churches in Asia. The final one, to the church at Laodicea, will be covered in this lesson. We think we have everything, but Jesus points out to the Laodiceans that they are, in fact, wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. It is a call to repent and return to Him with their whole hearts.

You know, the bodies of all of the "great" spiritual leaders of the past have been reduced to bones or dust in their graves.
Not so with Jesus Christ!
Jesus didn't just die; He went THROUGH death and came back to us. After 40 days, He ascended back into heaven and is there to this day.
The Apostle John, in his vision of Jesus in heaven, gives us an astounding description of our Lord's appearance.
He's coming back for His church; are you ready?

Jude, one of the brothers of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, wrote a short letter to his friends. In it, he warned of false teachers infiltrating the church.
He told them of the signs that would help them to identify these non-believers, and admonished them earnestly contend for the faith that had been delivered to them by the Apostles; the men who had spent three years as disciples of Jesus in person. Our salvation comes to us first as a gift of God's grace that enables us to believe in Jesus and in the gospel, the good news, of the finished work of Jesus.
We are saved from the wrath of God on Judgement Day by God's grace alone, through our faith alone, in Jesus Christ....alone!

Jesus gave us many commands in His Word.
He said, "If you love me, keep my commands."
In keeping His commands we know we are saved, because
the lost will not know Him, nor will they do the
things he has told us to do. Just a few of those commands
are covered in this lesson; but I hope it whets your appetites to go into His word and seek out others.

Don't know of a community that lives together with love and grace?
In Christ, it's God that transforms relationships and helps His people become more than mere acquaintances;
He makes them ...... family!
We've all been hurt, betrayed, rejected, and otherwise misused. But Christians, real Christians enjoy their brothers and sisters in Christ , often, more so than biological relations.....especially if their relatives do not know the Savior!

In this episode, we'll be discussing the things that occurred on Paul's final voyage.
In the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, the seasonal euroclydon catches their ship for two weeks and will not let them go.
God delivers 276 men, but destroys the ship.
Paul's unwavering faith is recognized by all of the men around him.
What a mighty God we serve!

God's providence is at work in the lives of all of us. Like Paul, we too are exactly where God wants us as we work to ensure His Word is proclaimed throughout the world.
