Mallet finger recovery after eleven weeks

On October 5, I tore the extensor tendon at the DIP joint of my right-hand middle finger. The injury - although seemingly 'minor' - results in the end of the finger drooping and requires 24/7 splinting for eight weeks. Even when splinting is performed with diligence, outcomes can vary and complications may sometimes require surgical intervention (the results of which are rarely satisfactory).

Atari 1200XL Keyboard Mylar Fix

In this video, I perform the Mylar repair which every Atari 1200XL keyboard eventually needs. Sometimes the carbon contacts on the Mylar survive virtually intact, and luckily that was the case here. Unfortunately that also means that this keyboard was no use as a demonstration of carbon pad repair, but maybe the next one we fix will be. :)
