Here is the first track of the Despair demo by the Christian Norwegian metal band Antestor. The song is called Preludium. Antestor started in 1989 under the name Crush Evil. At the time, they were a death metal band, and they released one demo during that time period of time. It was called The Defeat of Satan, and it was released in 1991. The band changed their name to Antestor in 1993. They changed their style to death doom, and they released this demo in 1993. Later on, they would change style to what they are best known for, black metal. They broke up in 2007 and got back together in 2010. It has been a long time since I last did one of these, but the end result is so worth it. This looks so much better than any of my previous reviews.

Anyway, here is my review of Seven Churches by Possessed! Enjoy it, everyone!

Lyrics:
More a state of being rather than a place
Hell is merely a stage for the soul
But all must walk the path
Uncertainty, the problem of pain
Experience second death
The soul that sins shall die, supposedly...

Consequence in the hereafter
Weeping, gnashing of teeth
This world revolves around conflich
And opposing forces.

Unquenchable fire to this stop could be the last
The inner sanctum not easily grasped

Left in limbo, unholy infants are then cast away]
Evil incarnate, govern the dead
Underdweller, monster among men
What will become of the condemned?

Separation point: Purgatory
The place of judgement for
The quick and the dead
The place where some will meet their end...

Left in limbo, unholy
Infants have been cast away]
Evil incarnate, govern the dead
Underdweller, monster among men
What has become of the condemned?
The terrifyinf flipside of heavenly paradise
Imgarey of endless torment
A blazing, infernal netherworld
Moreover, aren't we in hell here and now?

Lyrics:

While pinned to a slab of
Marble on the floor
Dreaming of carnal pleasures
You beg for castration
Then somebody counts of ten and the
Parade goes by nursery rhymes
Screams of ecstacy and of pain
Broadcasts on inaudible frequencies
Dissonant music
A great orchestral swell
Swell of noise....

All those unconscious desires and fears
Wants and needs, repressed
Longings have been set free
Eternal waking the sentencing
Staring into the maske of all your fears,
Face unveiled...

The torture has begun and
Will never cease within eternal waking
Recurring nightmares endlessly
Consciousness appears impossible to regain
Realisation of the grimmest reality
To fight a losing battle within yourself...

Chronic phantasmagoria...
All those unconscious desires and fears
Wants and needs, repressed
Longings have been set free
Eternal waking the sentencing
Staring into the maske of all your fears,
Forevermore...

The torture has begun and
Will never cease within eternal waking
Recurring nightmares endlessly
Consciousness appears impossible to regain
Realisation of the grimmest reality
To fight a losing battle within yourself...

Lyrics:

Faster than a gasp of fear flowing
Through my train of thought
Insatiable lust for widespread decimation
Bloodbath of insanity, ruler of the wasteland
Intent to force mankind into killing it's own
Into total extinction....

Homicidal violence of an undetermined nature
Driven by an all-consuming force
Enough to carpet the earth with, as always,
There are "truths" but no one truth
Seek the answers but to no avail
Conquer and divide....

I am the ruler of this desolate wasteland
Reaping more than you will ever sow
Followers are pleading
To put an end to the oppression
War and pain, revolt
Necessities in a plan to bring
Forth world downfall...

Recognition of torment life's
Perfect moments past
Holder of the key to everyone's destination
Enveloped by indifferences or
Engrossed in endless contrast
Stick to your standpoints but it matters not
Millions will still die....

I'm the marauder, I am the ominous figure
To raze the environment
For my own personal gain
I show no signs of shame
Wealth and power is all that I strive for
Watch in horror as authority slips away
Infamy is ll that I stand for
I sense the world is coming to an end....
Coming to a close....

Lyrics:

Solace extinguished by the horror of existance
Problems upsurge from
Which there seems no escape
In this senseless world
Solutions seem unattainable
Negativity begins to overcome
My thoughts become irrational

How much pain can I possibly
Bare with such a young soul?
Anger increases, morality decreases
I tap my darker psyche....

From the time I departed my troubles
To the time we meet again
Anger has been blotted out by pain...

How much pain can I possibly
Bare with such a young soul?
Anger increases, morality decreases
I tap my darker psyche....
Into the depths of my depravity
Surfacing into your world obsessed with hate
Disturbed, no longer knowing right from wrong
Terminate, my patience reached it's end...
From the time I departed my troubles
To the time we meet again
Anger has been blotted out by pain...

How much pain can I possibly bare with such a young soul?
Plummeting into the depths of depravity
Surfacing into your world obsessed with hate

From the time I departed my troubles
To the time we meet again
Anger has been blotted out by pain...

Lyrics:

Solid mind now warped
Shameless damage brought upon
Some self inflicted wounds
Have surfaced on this weakened body
Foundations are broke in shambles
Cannot escape the plight
All visions of hope soon crumble
Severe attempt to keep a sound
Intelligent mind…

What was once solid now weak
Killed by some would call release

Deprivation of tranquility
Rising to take the fall
Tribulation is destiny
Time will change us all

Detriment slowly but surely
The brain is transmogrified
Temperament – along with the change
Now beginning to lose control

Deprivation – all importance has been lost
- what is thy soul’s true cost ?
- no need to see it sleep away
Transmogrified I leaving all your will behind
- is it only in your mind ?
- no one should be exposed to this pain
Cause this ain’t no game…

Solo – Munoz

Transmogrified to distort your view
With venomous control…

Lyrics:

he sound of gunfire echoes through the night
The killing and hatred is a terrible sight
Reports come in of a heavy attack
Message received, we’re moving back

Preparations are made for the journey back
Hints for survival, supplies are packed
No more nights in this eternal hell
Destination is simple, we’re moving out

Killing time - your life’s on the line
Killing time – your time to kill
Killing time – what you say
Killing time - yeah, killing time

The silence is over, they attack us again
The killing and hatred drive me insane
Reports come in of a savage attack
Message received, we’re moving out

Ingenuity is needed to keep us alive
No time for cowardice, it’s kill and survive
Like the killer kid with the switchblade knife
One nasty word and he’ll take your life

Killing time - your life’s on the line
Killing time – your time to kill
Killing time – what you say
Killing time - yeah, killing time

The sound of gunfire echoes through the night
The killing and hatred is a terrible sight
Reports come in of a savage attack
Message received, we’re moving back

Preparations are made for the journey back
Hints for survival, supplies are packed

Lyrics:

The prophet said beware, the judgement draws near
The time has come to save your soul
The message it is clear
Kingdoms, mountains crumble to the ground
Forgotten cities once lost, now they are found

From the north four horsemen ride
On steeds of many colours
Conquest, power, judgement of all others
Come and see, see the sword, given on to me
The sword of fire, plague and famine
Death on to thee

Reach out with your hand
Touch me if you can
I’m running from the eye of the storm

From the sea the beast shall rise
His chains they are broken
Death to those who bear his mark
For they were not chose
Thunder, lightning strikes him to the ground
Satan lost in a lake of fie, never to be found

Reach out with your hand
Touch me if you can
I’m running from the eye of the storm

The prophet said beware, the judgement draws near
The time has come to save your soul
The message it is clear
Reach out with your hand
Touch me if you can

Of the storm
I’m running, just got running, keep on running
I’m running from the eye of the storm
Of the storm

Hey everyone. It's the Doomed Dog, and welcome to Headbang Heaven. For years now. I have been uploading a large collection of heavy metal demos to my Youtube channel, but their increasingly draconian copyright system has made it more and more difficult to do so. I decided I would start dragging my content from there to here. If you like heavy metal from a wide variety of bands in a wide variety of genres, this is the the place to come and get it. I will, also, be uploading my album reviews here, as well. Check out my gaming channel here:

You can find my metal Youtube channel here:

Give me time. I have a lot of content on that channel that I need to transfer over to this one.
