Eric Schneiderman made the right call in announcing he’d quit as state attorney general late Monday: The New Yorker article that dropped hours earlier guaranteed he’d be pushed if he didn’t jump.

The allegations against Schneiderman were consistent, credible and grotesque. He claimed in his “I give up” statement that they were “unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office,” but that would never have flown.

We can thank the #MeToo movement (which Schneiderman had publicly praised) for inspiring his victims to speak out. And, had he tried to stay on, a credibly accused serial beater and emotional abuser of women was never going to survive his next election. If necessary, New Yorkers would have gladly crossed party lines to defeat him.

Indeed, Gov. Andrew Cuomo was fast out of the box with a statement calling on him to step down. The rest of the state establishment — actually, all decent-thinking people — would have been close behind.

It’s effectively up to Speaker Carl Heastie and his Assembly Democrats to pick an interim AG, who might also be the party’s nominee this fall — although the primary field is likely to get crowded fast: Among other things, Schneiderman’s successsor will control millions of dollars sitting in various settlement and civil forfeiture accounts. More, the job’s a steppingstone to the governor’s mansion.

But it’s worth pausing here to note that Schneiderman’s fall follows the implosions of Eliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner in increasingly sordid sex scandals — even as each had spent his career moralizing, often condemning the very conduct that brought him down. (And even oh-so-observant Sheldon Silver turned out to be having an affair with one of his members.)Minds https://www.minds.com/jaywatts

“cisgender girl” heroine is “already evolved,” “doesn’t really have an emotional journey to complete,” leaving the book with “no point.”

Marge counters, “Well, what am I supposed to do?”

“It’s hard to say,” Lisa responds. “Something that started decades ago and was applauded and inoffensive is now politically incorrect. What can you do?”

In case any viewer did not get the point, Lisa turned and looked at a framed photograph of Apu – who operates the Kwik-E-Mart convenience store in Springfield and is voiced by Hank Azaria. The photo is inscribed with the message, “Don’t have a cow.”

Wow. “Politically Incorrect?” That’s the takeaway from my movie & the discussion it sparked? Man, I really loved this show. This is sad.

Every third-party app is different in the kinds of data that’s collected. But the important step to remember is to stop and really read through what you’re agreeing to—even if sometimes it’s contained in a lengthy legalese agreement—before casually hitting the “continue” to log in using Facebook button. Typically, these apps want access to names, genders, and locations. But many apps dig deeper into personal preferences and friend networks.

From here, all it takes is for the third-party app to sell the data to someone else, like behavior research firm Strategic Communication Laboratories, which is affiliated with Cambridge Analytica, the data firm that worked for Trump’s campaign. Facebook has cut down on the information it shares with third party apps. However, it has not been eliminated altogether.

A new report by Fractl found that all that personal data from Facebook and other accounts is being illegally sold on the “dark web” for little more than a few dollars. For instance, the firm found Facebook logins sold for $5.20 each while credentials to PayPal accounts went for an average of $247, reported MarketWatch.

Short of deleting a Facebook account, there are a few other steps users can take to protect themselves, starting with getting rid of all those third-party apps and turning off location data. Go to Facebook settings (nope, not privacy), then “apps,” and check how many apps are linked to Facebook.

When I took a look recently, there were 40 apps linked to my Facebook account, which is low compared to others I know who had as many as 100 third-party apps linked to their own accounts.

Count Dankula, was convicted on Tuesday for posting a “grossly offensive” video of his girlfriend’s pug doing a Nazi salute.

“I think it’s a very, very dark day in regards to freedom of speech and freedom of expression,” said Count Dankula, 30. He also warned British comedians against making jokes “because your context and intent behind them apparently don’t matter anymore.”

Dankula posted the video titled “M8 yer dugs a Nazi” in April 2016 and was arrested last year. He now faces jail time under the Communications Act 2003, according to Yahoo News.

Prosecutors reportedly said Meechan’s video was “anti-semitic and racist in nature.” Sheriff Derek O’Carroll said in court that “the accused knew that the material was offensive and knew why it was offensive,”

Chris Ray Gun:
@ChrisRGun
Count Dankula just got convicted of being "Grossly Offensive" in Scotland. He could face six months in prison over a video of a dog raising it's paw. So, Scotland is officially a joke of a country.

Dear Britons, defenders of free speech. Out of my cell in Colnbrook, I want to ask you something. Be honest and raise your hands.

Who among of you has ever been in the following situation: You grab a beer after work, or you are visiting your girlfriend’s parents for the first time, or you meet other children’s parents at school — and suddenly the conversation moves to politics: radical Islam, immigration.

Who of you in this very moment was faced with the decision between speaking his mind and facing problems, or complying
and staying silent?

Raise your hands and be honest.

I will not be able to see the results, but every single hand is too much. This amount of fear should not exist in a society. Speech that has social costs and severe consequences is no longer free. It has a price — and our Government and the Antifa are working everyday to raise that price.

No freedom of speech means no democracy. In front of our very eyes this country is becoming a tyranny, shutting all debates
about immigration down, until demographics solves the issue by replacement.

People of the UK. I might be in a cell right now, but you all are in a cell. It’s the prison of fear and silence your governement and the PC tyranny has locked you in since the days of your childhood.
I ask you, I command you, break free!

Patriots of the UK: come out of the closet. Make your dissent visible by visible acts of resistance that inspire others. I know for certain that millions in the UK think like me. Those millions should be on the street now.

We need a coming out of the silent majority, or Britain is lost. We need a free, open and honest debate about immigration,
Islam and demographics, so we can sort these problems out together.

And I know that the force is still in you. With your Brexit vote you stunned the world! The will and the life of the British
nation is not broken.

Initially, I asked if freedom of speech is dead in the UK. You, every one of you who came today, is a living sign that..

So Lauren Southern, brittany Pettibone and Martin Sellner are all suing the UK Goverment. This all sparked because the UK goverment Held Martin and his girlfriend Brittany without charge for 3 days and prevented them from coming to the country.

Lauren Southern was also subsequently held without charge on her trip a day later.

Conservative comedian Steven Crowder was suspended by Twitter on Wednesday for allegedly violating the site’s “hateful conduct” terms.

According to screenshots posted on Crowder’s blog, Twitter initially suspended his account for 12 hours for posting a video where an intern crashes an LGBT meet-up at SxSW and pretends to identify as a computer.

Crowder said he assumed his account was suspended because the video did not bleep out the word “faggot,” but when the video was re-uploaded with the word bleeped, his account was suspended for an additional seven days.

“Reminder, the video has soft bleeps, information blurred,” the blog post about the suspension states. “Twitter still suspended three accounts of our studio team, for daring to share the content. At all.”

Conservatives on Twitter are rallying behind Crowder with the hashtag “#FreeCrowder,” insisting that the suspension is further proof of Twitter’s bias against conservatives on its platform.

Populist UK MEP Janice Atkinson of the Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF) parliamentary group slammed the British government in a press conference at the European Parliament on Wednesday over the recent treatment of Canadian journalist and activist Lauren Southern.
Ms. Atkinson, who serves as a Vice-President of the ENF, a group which has included Dutch firebrand Geert Wilders, former French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, Italian La Lega leader Matteo Salvini, and others, slammed the UK government for detaining and refusing entry to Ms. Southern under the UK terrorism act.

Atkinson railed against the government, which she said should be looking outward to the rest of the world in terms of trade after Brexit, for refusing Southern entry.

Ms. Southern, who was detained under the Terrorism Act for “inciting racial hatred” for a social experiment she and others undertook in which they claimed “Allah is a gay God”, explained her story of being detained and asked questions such as her thoughts on running down Muslims with a truck.

Telford timeline of abuse
Early 1980s Vulnerable Telford girls are targeted by groups of mainly Asian men.

1996 A concerned resident claims she tells police about the activities of a key abuser selling underage girls for sex.

Late 1990s Files reveal social workers learn of the problem but do little to help.

2000 Lucy Lowe, 16, is killed alongside her mum and sister in an arson attack by abuser Azhar Ali Mehmood, who made her pregnant at 14.

2002 Abuse victim Becky Watson, 13, is killed in a road accident described as a “prank”.

2009 Becky’s friend Vicky Round dies in a drugs-related incident after enduring nine years of sex hell at the hands of a string of paedophiles.

2010-2012 Police probe dubbed Operation Chalice identifies a potential 200 abusers but only nine are jailed. Two further probes collapse.

August 2016 The Sunday Mirror reports that the problem is continuing outside underage discos in the town but some complaints provided by volunteer street pastors are not properly logged.

September 2016 MP Lucy Allan calls for a public inquiry but police and council officials in Telford write to Home Secretary Amber Rudd saying this isn’t necessary.

Police and local authority chiefs yesterday said all reports of child sex exploitation were taken “extremely seriously”.

Martin Evans, Assistant Chief Constable for West Mercia Police, said: “We are aware of the information you have provided.

“Tackling such horrific offences is the number one priority for police in Telford and we have not only increased officer numbers to tackle this type of offending, but use all of our resources and technology available to prosecute anyone who sexually offends against children whether that offending took place today, yesterday or decades ago.

“Operation Chalice in 2013 was one of the first national complex critical investigations into grooming offences. It centred on historic offending in Telford and Wrekin and ultimately resulted in seven men jailed for a total of 49 year..

Three prominent activists with the so-called alt-right have been denied entry to the United Kingdom.

U.S. activist Brittany Pettibone, who hosts a nationalist podcast, was prevented from entering the country alongside Austrian far-right leader Martin Sellner on Friday. Canadian YouTube blogger Lauren Southern was denied entry Monday.

“Border Force has the power to refuse entry to an individual if it is considered that his or her presence in the U.K. is not conducive to the public good,” a Home Office spokeswoman said in an emailed statement to Newsweek.

Pettibone and Sellner were detained at Luton Airport and refused permission to enter the U.K. on the grounds that their presence in the country was not conducive to the public good. They were deported from the U.K. Sunday.

Southern was planning to meet Sellner and Pettibone in Britain, according to the conservative news website Breitbart. Breitbart also said Sellner had been planning to make a speech in London’s Hyde Park, but that papers served on him by the British authorities alleged the speech was likely to incite“tensions between local communities”.

President Trump on Friday pardoned a former Navy sailor whose conviction for unauthorized retention of national defense information became a rallying cry for conservatives who felt it showed Hillary Clinton was treated too leniently in the FBI’s investigation of how she handled classified material.

Kristian Saucier, 31, of Vermont, is the second person to be pardoned by Trump; last year, the president controversially pardoned former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was convicted of criminal contempt of court for ignoring a judge’s order to stop detaining people because he merely suspected them of being undocumented immigrants.

Trump frequently referenced Saucier's case during the 2016 campaign as an example of what he said was an individual punished for a lesser offense than what his rival, Hillary Clinton, did with classified information on her private email server when she was secretary of state.

Saucier's lawyers also cited Clinton's case in an attempt to receive leniency in sentencing proceedings, which took place during the height of the campaign. Prosecutors rejected the comparison for several reasons, including the fact that Saucier acknowledged wrongdoing.

A woman who protested a controversial lecture that took place at Queen’s University on Monday is facing numerous charges from Kingston Police.

Jordan Peterson, a University of Toronto psychology professor, stopped at Queen’s as part of a tour to support his bestselling book 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos. The lecture he gave was titled The Rising Tide of Compelled Speech in Canada.

Peterson has been criticized for refusing direction to use nongender pronouns as well as opposing Bill C-16, which extends legal protections to transgender people. His critics have accused him of promoting far-right, racist, homophobic and Islamophobic ideas.

About 150 protesters gathered outside Grant Hall while Peterson gave his lecture that started at about 4:30 p.m.

People protesting speaker Jordan Peterson gathered at Queen’s University on Monday, March 6, 2018. Elliot Ferguson
At about 5:15 p.m. a woman, who isn’t a Queen’s student, stood on one of the building’s window ledges. Police said in their news release that she then started to bang on the window causing it break. The woman cut her hand, but fled the scene. She was stopped by officers dressed in plain clothing at University Avenue and Stuart Street.

When the officers identified themselves the woman started to yell and resisted arrest by trying to pull away, police said. Once handcuffed the woman became violent and started kicking one officer. Additional officers responded to take the woman to police headquarters, but on the way there she tried to kick out the cruiser’s window.

Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze. Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 9, 2018

Trump, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, "will accept the invitation to meet with Kim Jong Un at a place and time to be determined." But, Sanders added, "in the meantime, all sanctions and maximum pressure must remain."
Earlier Thursday, Chung announced that Trump would meet with Kim to "continue the goal of denuclearization."

Kim "expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible," Chung said. "President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet Kim Jong Un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization."

Kim, according to Chung, understands that joint military exercises between South Korea and the U.S. would continue. The North Korean leader, according to recent talks with Chung, also claimed to be "commited to denuclearization."

"He (Kim) pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear missile tests," Chung said, adding that Trump's "leadership" and "maximum pressure" brought us "to this juncture."

Christina Hoff Sommers is a self-identified feminist and registered Democrat with a Ph.D. in philosophy and a wicked sense of humor. She is also a woman who says bad things. Things like: Men and women are equal, but there are differences between them.

When such a person steps foot on a college campus these days, you know what’s coming. So it was on Monday at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Ore., where Ms. Sommers had been invited by the Federalist Society to give a talk about feminism.

In advance of the lecture, nine student groups, among them the Portland National Lawyers Guild, the Minority Law Student Association, the Women’s Law Caucus, the Jewish Law Society and the school’s Young Democratic Socialists of America chapter sent a letter protesting the appearance by this “known fascist.”

Yes, these future lawyers believe that free speech is acceptable only when it doesn’t offend them. Which is to say, they don’t believe in it at all.

For the lecture itself, a student wearing a jacket emblazoned with the command “Stay Woke” led protesters in shouting “Microaggressions are real” and “No platform for fascists.” Ms. Sommers handled matters as gracefully as possible, but had delivered only half her lecture before Janet Steverson, a law professor and the school’s dean of diversity and inclusion, asked her to cut her remarks short and take questions from the hardy souls who somehow survived the violence of her words.

King’s College London’s Libertarian Society has invited two controversial speakers for an event on philosophy that will be taking place on Monday 5 March on the Strand Campus.

The two speakers are Carl Benjamin, a noted libertarian Youtuber, and Yaron Brook, the director of the Ayn Rand Institute (ASI), an economic non-profit. The event is a debate between Benjamin and Brook on Ayn Rand’s philosophy, objectivism, followed by a question and answer period.

Carl Benjamin, better known as “Sargon of Akkad” has become popular amongst right-wing circles for his channel exploring issues of philosophy and history, often with an anti-feminist bent. He rose to fame during the “Gamergate” controversy in 2016, where a feminist games critic was sent rape threats, and makes videos criticising “SJWs”, or social justice warriors.

Benjamin alleged that Heather Heyer, the activist who was killed by a white nationalist’s car in Charlottesville, Virginia in August of 2017, actually died of a heart attack and not as a result of the car’s impact.

Previously, when Jess Phillips MP tweeted last year that rape threats had become par for the course as a part of her job, Benjamin responded by saying that he wouldn’t “even rape you (Jess Phillips)” in a tweet.

While his channel has been reviewed by Youtube several times, he remains able to monetize content from the channel and has a Patreon where he makes about $8,100 per month.

Yaron Brook is a scholar and author who has spoken at other institutions, such as London School of Economics. He has written a book called “Equal is Unfair”. He has also repeatedly asserted the superiority of Western civilisation and made anti-Islam remarks, asserting that countries must be “brought to their knees” in order to accept the superiority of Western civilisation.

He has advocated for foreign policy that pushes American self-interest, arguing that even the bombing of civilian centers and the torturing of enemy prisoners of war is acceptable if it ..

Hundreds of students had turned out to listen to the speaker Carl Benjamin, who goes by the name of 'Sargon of Akkad' online, in a talk hosted by the KCL Libertarian Society. Dramatic video footage shows the moment a group of masked men enter the lecture theatre waving an Antifa flag. Antifa forced their way into a building before setting off the building's fire alarm and smoke bombs.

YouTube admitted that some of its newer content moderators “may misapply some of our policies resulting in mistaken removals.” YouTube, is going overboard in its more recent purges of conservative or alt-right social media accounts. YouTube enlisted 10,000 employees in December. And they seemed to be especially utilized during the aftermath of the mass school shooting in Parkland Florida.

Sargon of Akkad, has been locked out of his Google account, meaning that he can’t access his YouTube channel.

“I think it’s because extremists on the right pose no actual threat to the extremists on the left, whereas centrist classical liberal ideas really do. When it comes to the left’s racial collectivism and animus against white people, a fair-minded individualist anti-racist mindset is infinitely more preferable.”
-Sargon

“”As we work to hire rapidly and ramp up our policy enforcement teams throughout 2018, newer members may misapply some of our policies resulting in mistaken removals. We’re continuing to enforce our existing policies regarding harmful and dangerous content, they have not changed. We’ll reinstate any videos that were removed in error.”

The first video was flagged for targeting Parkland survivor and activist David Hogg, titled "David Hogg Can’t Remember His Lines In TV Interview." The video showed clips of the teenager, clearly distressed and stumbling over his recount of the fateful day and shooting. In the Infowars video, Hogg was accused of being trained or coached on what to say, and it's suggested that he may have acting experience. According to CNN, YouTube removed the video for veering into harassment and bullying.
Infowars claimed this is censorship, and the "ability to question the statements of public figures on television is part of basic free expression under the First Amendment." The site is also charging YouTube with discrimination because of the channel's political views. Infowars likened CNN's and YouTube's actions to the Russian government, who it said shuts down opposing media outlets. "The left won’t stop until all competing voices have been financially crippled or silenced altogether," Infowars wrote in an article.

Laura Ingraham is now reporting from Fox News:

"Our sources near the Broward County Sheriff’s Department are telling us that the deputies who arrived at the scene of the shooting were told not to enter the school unless their body cameras were turned on. And then we found that the deputies did not have body cameras, so they did not enter the building or engage the shooter. So curiously, police also lost radio communications during the Parkland shooting. And our source claims that radio communication also went dead during the Ft. Lauderdale airport shooting of 2017…"

In other words, not only were the deputies ordered to stand down, but the communications outage seems to be a pattern among false flag shooting operations (carried out to push a gun control agenda).

Fox News is also reporting that deputies “would not let medical personnel into the school,” reports The Daily Wire, confirming yet again that both armed officers and EMTs were prohibited from entering the school while students were bleeding out. This was obviously done on purpose in order to maximize the body count for political gain. (And CNN was immediately ready with a staged “town hall” event to cast blame on the NRA and the GOP, as planned.)

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said Sunday he would not resign in the face of criticism about his agency's response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
"Of course I won't resign," Israel said when pressed on the issue by CNN anchor Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."
Israel also said he was "disgusted" an armed school resource officer did not enter the school as shots rang out and vowed to investigate any other allegation of inaction.
"I was disgusted. I was just demoralized with the performance of former deputy (Scot) Peterson," Israel said Sunday.

CNN reported earlier this weekend that Coral Springs sources said police officers from Coral Springs arrived at the site of the shooting and were dismayed to find three other Broward County Sheriff's deputies, in addition to Peterson, had not entered the school.
Israel said the actions of the deputies are under investigation.
"We're going to be taking statements from those Coral Springs police officers," Israel said. "If any of the deputies are alleged to have dereliction of duty, we'll look into that."
Israel said that, as of now, Peterson was the only officer that he was certain had been derelict. He added that Peterson resigned after being suspended without pay.
"Our investigation to this point shows that during this horrific attack, while this killer was inside the school, there was only one law enforcement person, period," Israel said. "And that was former deputy Scot Peterson. Coral Springs arrived -- a group of Coral Springs officers went in within, I think, about four minutes, we're projecting, after the killer left the campus."

Israel did not dispute that more Broward County deputies might not have entered the school after the killer left but before Coral Springs officers arrived, but he said that, at this point in the investigation, he had no reason to believe anyone else had acted incorrectly.

Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey, 15, was at the centre of a number of his vile tweets - with brazen Maddison even tagging the ex-glamour model so she would have to read his abuse.

When she hit out at a vile mocked up King Kong film poster featuring Harvey a different troll had posted, Maddison replied: "It's your fat spastic son photoshopped onto the Empire State Building.

"Is your head as f****d as your caved in rancid c***.

He also referred to Harvey as "that spastic love child of you and the choccy choccy man who you said you would have aborted the other week", and joked that his disabilities were down to "a combination of class As and Dwight Yorkes love silk."

He later told Price to "go asbestos bobbing in hot chip pan oil", and asked if she gave birth to Harvey during a car crash.

Ms Price told the Commons Petitions Committee last week that a line should be drawn between "banter" and criminal abuse but the law had failed to keep up with the changing use of technology.

Her 15-year-old son Harvey - who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome - was targeted on Twitter last year by an unnamed 19-year-old who received a caution from Sussex Police.
