* Simul. III. Stupebant omnes et mirabantur. * Simul.

Toen de Pinksterdag was aangebroken, waren alle apostelen * tegelijkertijd bijeen, alleluia, alleluia. II.

Below part of the fb discussion of April 24:

Gregoriana: What I don't understand is the value of the virgas with episema in DeUS, apareBO and diES. What would you do when there were no episemas? Similarly for the episema on the high notes on faCIem and uBI. You seem to follow Laon here, but clearly show the Cantatorium. [...]

Luca: Those episemas, on top of a climácus, are due to a bogue in the St Gall notation. The Virgula represents one syllabic beat, if it is alone on a syllable, but only half a beat in in conjunction with rapid signs (in this case with dots). The sanktgaller climácus with a simple virgula on top corresponds to a dot, and you need a liniola ("episeme") in order to give it a full syllabic beat.
The notation of Laon is more coherent, having a dot on top of the quick climácus (semibrevis), and a virgula on top of the climácus with a brevis on top.
in St Gall, you will never find a climácus with a dot on top.
I followed the Cantatorium trying to respect every single sign.

A melody for an alleluiaticus for S. Eulalia (10 December) restored by Luca Ricossa based on the melody in the Cisneros Cantorales.

A sketch of our first melodic solution for the neumatic notation of the sacrificium for the feast of Justus and Pastor (August 6) as preserved in the early tenth-century León antiphoner.

We made five corrections to the original text:

"Amplificate oblationem" for "Amplificare oblationem"
"lilium fragrans" for "lilium fraglans"
"non auferat a vobis" for "non auferat a vos"
"sapientiam Dei" for "sapientia Dei"
"commoratur quotidie" for "commoratur quotdidie"

Three sketches for hypothetical Gallican-Mozarabic Pentecost chants.

The first chant, Factus est repente, was discussed by Hesbert, Huglo, Baroffio, Levy ... The other two, Dum complerentur 1 & Dum complerentur 2, are melodic solutions for the neumatic notation in the early tenth-century León antiphoner, produced with two different computational methods. The first method based on segmented alignment to a set of possibly related melodies. The second method based on probabilistic generative models of the same set.
