Big Brother Australia was filmed on the Gold Coast in the vicinity of the famous "Dreamworld" theme park, and the reality television program ran from 2001 until 2014.

Each year, producers would renovate the 'House in order to keep things fresh and introduce new surprises for the upcoming season; in some cases, there would even be new buildings or areas added to the Big Brother House.

Over time though, viewership gradually declined and after months of speculation, it was announced in mid-2015 that Big Brother Australia has been suspended for the foreseeable future.

Since this time, the Big Brother House has been (mostly) stripped of its contents, abandoned and left in a state of disrepair...

Perfect for a bit of urban exploration!

Whilst there's not much left and nature has clearly taken over, take a tour of the final (Season 11) Big Brother House... Hopefully you will get a sense of what it was like inside the Big Brother House.

Held annually (usually in January), Sea World Carnivale offers guests live music, delicious food from around the world and roving entertainment throughout the theme park, among other things... It really is an experience like no other, though most of the rides still operate "after dark", if this is more to your taste.

The star attraction of Sea World Carnivale though, is the "Aquacolour Lightshow".

By combining music, lasers, water fountains/jets, various lighting effects and more, the Aquacolour Lightshow offers guests an experience like no other!

Sea World Carnivale has ended for 2018, but if you liked my video, then I encourage you to come to Sea World Carnivale 2019 and experience the fun for yourself – this was the first time I had been, and I don’t regret it one bit!

Operating from 1889 until 1964, the South Coast Railway Line provided railway services to numerous locations around the Gold Coast, with Ernest Junction Tunnel being the only tunnel on the line.

Today, most remnants of the South Coast Railway Line are long gone, however the Ernest Junction Tunnel remains and is cared for by the "Ernest Junction Tunnel Friends" Facebook "group" (see below).

To be honest, there's not a whole lot to see - in part because the Gold Coast is a modern, ever-changing city and most old stuff gets replaced pretty quickly... But for the curious, Ernest Junction Tunnel is a rare insight into the early history of the Gold Coast.

You can explore Ernest Junction Tunnel yourself (see below), you can watch my video or you could do both!

Enjoy the video and if you visit Ernest Junction Tunnel yourself, don't forget to share your experience!

My name is Greg and I am a fun-loving, urban cowboy from the Gold Coast (Queensland, Australia), with a deep love of music, animals and gaming. Further to this, I am unashamedly a big, BIG fan of pretty much everything Disney (including the films!), with enthusiasm for anything related to computers, telecommunications and technology in general.

My channel is a "mixed bag" and I upload all sorts of stuff... Sometimes it might be a game I am streaming from my Sony PlayStation 4 Pro or a review of a product, other times it might be a bit of urban exploration, a video showing off my beautiful home, the Gold Coast or some spectacular fireworks.

I'm pretty sporadic with my uploads too, but if I find something I like and manage to get it on camera, this is where you'll find it.

Unless otherwise indicated, all content is filmed using my Sony FDR-AX53 Digital 4K Video Camera Recorder, and encoded using OpenShot Video Editor under Ubuntu LTS (a Linux-based operating system).
