I recorded this song really quick just to test my studio setup. The song is not exactly like the original, I played it a whole step down, and also I didn't look up the tabs before it was recorded, and damn Ultimateguitar.com haha I should have known better!
Anyway, since the purpose was practicing mixing, here's what I used;
-EZ Drummer 2
-5 strings bass (Washburn Taurus in Drop A) and the Aurora DSP Mammoth plugin
-Solar guitar S2.6 (Rhythm/Lead = Drop A/B standard) with Neural DSP Fortin Nameless Suite and the Meshuggah IR pack from Seacowcabs through the Nameless Suite
Can't wait to do the real mix and ice the cake with a bonus guitar solo!
This is an average take of where I'm at after 1 month practicing the song everyday. It's really difficult, easily in my top 3 of hardest songs I've ever learned in 24 years of playing guitar. I just finished learning it, but some chords are so hard to play, meaning not even while playing the song, just simply playing the freakin' chord haha I had to adapt a complete bar since my hand isn't streching enough... I'm 6'4''
Track #1 of my solo album "La fonte des nuages".

Hi! I'm a french Canadian drived by my passion for music and philosophy. I love to debate as much as writing a new song for my musical projects. I'm working on building a home studio so I can finally self produce my ideas, and make more playtroughs of my music. The thing is, it takes a lot of time to do so. In the last 4 years my allergies to perfumes became so extreme, that I can't keep a job for long before they start getting tired of my problems. As soon as I get my head out of the water, next thing I know is that I'm fired or it becomes so intolerable, that I need to quit. Sadly pills aren't working anymore due to overuse. But even with all that, I try to focus on the positive side of life. If you want to help my situation/projects, feel free to grab my album ''La Fonte des Nuages'' on Bandcamp for the price of your choice. Cheers!
