On May 31st of 1986, Judas Priest and Dokken both performed live at the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland. But just before the concert, a group of fans outside held a tailgate party in the parking lot. It was during this get together that documentary filmmakers Jeff Krulik and John Heyn recorded interviews with these fans. The documentary has since become a cult-classic amongst metalheads, usually traded on bootleg VHS videotapes. It's an interesting look at heavy metal fans and a time capsule of what the culture was like at the time.

Also included is a brief look at the "sequels" to the doc such as Neil Diamond Parking Lot (1996) and Monster Truck Parking Lot (1988) as well as 1998 retrospective look at the documentary along with some lost footage.

A series of clips taken from during the release Judas Priest's tenth album "Turbo" including an interview with front man Rob Halford, a behind the scenes look at the making of the music video for "Locked In" and the host segments from when Rob was a guest VJ on MTV.

A little personal aside from me; "Turbo" was my first exposure to Priest and is one of my favorites from the band. I don't understand why some fans hate the album though. I guess in their minds, Priest sold out but in my opinion I don't think they did. I understand what Rob and the boys were trying to do with it. They knew it was gonna be difficult to top the masterpiece that was "Defenders of The Faith" so they figured instead of trying to top it, they'd take things into a different direction.

In fact, originally it was supposed to be a double album called "Twin Turbos" but the record company was against the idea of it. The other half of what would have been "Twin Turbos" became known as "Ram It Down".
