I took a ride on the Paris metro and RER on my recent visit to Paris. Lines 1, 4, 6, 11 and 14 have rubber tyres instead of regular steel wheels. These lines make a drastically different noise and have a much higher acceleration.
The diesel gala at the KWVR in 2019. Alongside their home fleet there was also a class 47, 2 class 50s, an 88, a 31 in BR research division livery, and a class 41 prototype HST with its own rake of Mk3 Coaches.
