Sony Pictures Animation was going to make a movie adapting the famous golden age series, Popeye The Sailor. It was looking to be a big thing that would have been a great adaptation, but in 2015 it was canceled. Then in 2022 the test animatic was leaked, and here's my review of it.

I saw Disney's Wish over the Thanksgiving Weekend, and I was pretty happy with it, in multiple ways. Tune in to find out why it's both a good Disney movie (at least better than a lot of what they've been putting out), and why it's a decent political message.

I just couldn't stay quiet anymore, no matter how many times Steve, Gerald, Alex, or anyone else says it, Mug Club is no substitute for services like Netflix and Disney Plus in it's current state (November 2023), Steven saves us no time from sponsored live reads because there's so much plugging of mug club per episode, and they just strait up lie about Rumble being "the ONLY platform fighting for free speech." Also, if you REALLY were so desperate for money because not enough people are signing up for mug club, you'd try something else (because there are multiple ways fans can support a creator). I don't have a problem with having and relying on a premium subscription business model and partnering with a youtube alternative, just don't lie about it and draw false comparisons between what you offer and what other companies offer.

I was out doing errands and came across a Bed Bath and Beyond in the last 2 days of operation. I decided to do a little "urban nature documentary."

I got a call from "amazon fraud department" today and I almost fell for it because the beginning really sounded legit, but then they transferred me to "my bank's fraud department," and that's where they almost got me, asking for very standard identity verification information. Be aware friends, these guys sounded very legit.

If you're a content creator, write a book about something too ambitious to make into a video, or that might not match your specific brand, or crazy "you can't make this up" real life events, or anything you can fill multiple pages with. It also doesn't have to be a super invested project, I wrote mine primarily when I was just waiting around for things to start.

Back in 2009 all American broadcast channels were supposed to stop their analog broadcast signal, but I learned that some channels were exempt from this requirement and were allowed to continue broadcasting their analog signal, and continued broadcasting into 2021. I looked up some channels that supposedly were still broadcasting in analog across northern Ohio, and so the weekend before the FCC saying "no more analog period" I drove around with an old TV looking for the final analog channels. Did I find any?

Been a while since I made part 1, better late than never I suppose. Anyway, in 2021 low power television stations were still allowed to broadcast in analog 9 years past the DTV transition, and according to the FCC website there were 2 channels in Columbus Ohio still broadcasting in analog. I've heard both sides, they both have decent points, this isn't about who is right and who is wrong since anything I could say has already been said by others much better. But it does have me wondering if this is has anything to do with how Steven was so anti-competition until he spontaneously was pro-competition. Like Romney and the pro-life thing, what was his "Come to Jesus moment" regarding competition? Nothing changed for him in-front of the scenes, so maybe it was something behind the scenes.
