Hey guys, back from a little break now, this episode is pretty slice of lifey as far as this show goes. The gang attends a little party that TOTALLY doesn't have any ulterior motives. It's actually really cute how Keiichi is constantly worried about Belldandy no matter what happens, they are very clearly already in the "old couple" faze that I often see in my elderly relatives when they see that the other one gets drunk. Very wholesome.

For those who saw the first series and still want more, this is where you'll find it.
This second series continues a bit after the first series and introduces a lot more mystical elements, explaining "heaven" and "hell" in greater detail, and exposing possible flaws that might endanger Keiichi's contract. While most second series seem to lose the magic from the original, this series stands out as it builds upon the first series and expands in a meaningful way other than increasing the animation budget.
I was quite impressed with this sequel as it is on par with the first in terms of characters, yet adds on an even more engaging storyline. If I had anything to complain about, it would be the over-the-top nature of some of the battles, and some minor plot holes, but those aside this is a solid season and a great watch, in a similar fashion to the first series.

A bit out of season, but we get pretty based Christmas episode. Keiichi finally starts climbing the steps of manhood, in the form of working to buy a ring for Belldandy as a present. I kind of liked this one, it's a valuable life lesson for any man to work toward something other then himself even if it might be silly and pointless but the heart you put into the whole idea is what truly matters. Either way, I'm rambling again, enjoy this little thumbnail of Urd getting drafted into the insanity.

After the first episode re-establishment, we are back again with some slice of life style story time. This time around it's a Sayoko focused episode. She is a fun little extra for the show, but I honestly feel her character isn't really going anywhere, it would be an interesting turn for her if she would finally move on from Keiichi and do something else with her life, instead of swearing revenge at the end of every episode, but alas, I'm not the writer here. Though I do admit, the episode had a little gotcha in there with making the audience suspect she is directly responsible for stealing the sweater, when in reality it was Skuld being a little rascal again.

Following the age alteration theme of last time, this episode gets a little age progression for Skuld. I do feel like these two ending episodes have a lot of heart put into them, they feel very special and well worked on. Pretty good theme to round out the season on, but the story is not yet over so we will get back to it with next season. Until then, I hope you guys enjoyed it for what it's worth.

The next thing after the movie for this franchise was a full on TV series. You can consider this one a hard-reboot (or an alternative version, if you will) to the OVAs and the movie.
Basically the story starts over from where Keiichi makes the phone call. It is still worth watching, in my opinion, with a longer running multiple seasons of the TV format, there is more time for the story to be told, the side characters have a bigger window to develop. Also if you didn't watch the previous things relating to this it's also okay to start here you won't be missing out too much. (though me being a fan, I would obviously recommend you start in the way I uploaded it)

Although some of the themes in this anime are dated given the show's age, this is still one of the benchmark rom-coms. I suppose people will call it a harem, but this isn't one where the male character is indecisive. This is a love story propelled by the antics caused by the people related to the leading male and female. Watching the whole series may not be essential, but anyone that wishes to consider themselves well-versed in anime has to watch at least the first season. Thankfully, this is a nice, fun, innocent Slice of Life Romcom, so it's easy to swallow.

Bit of a weird episode, I'm going to ignore the implications that they are showing a minor looking person drinking alcohol (it's oldschool anime, give them a break). But other than that, it's a pretty wholesome episode, young version of Urd is super cute.
On a technical level, it also uses one of my favourite songs of the OST, "Ai Suru Hito No Tame Ni" it roughly translates into "For people to meet", I guess it kind of symbolizes that childhood wonder you feel when you meet new and interesting people that brighten up your day. Anyways, great instrumental work in this song, have a listen to it if you have the chance:

So, the major drama of this season gets concluded. It kind of shows the age of the show that the main villain gets defeated by throwing a floppy disk at him. Either way, we still got two episodes left so despite the ending being different this time, it's not over yet.

Frankly, I admit I don't find it to be a good move to introduce a world ending crisis into a show like this, I prefer the normal slice of life stuff, but here we are. Let's just hope all the buildings Urd is exploding while doing an overly dramatic villain laughter, didn't have any people inside of them...

Now this right here, is a good episode. Urd falls to her urges and embraces her demonic side and of course, according to this shows logic, that means she gets a Goth GF BDSM outfit.
Fucking sweeet. 10/10 Just look at that smug smile.

This episode is basically about some angel lore. As I mentioned before, similar to JoJo, angels are the representation of the persons true personality same as Stands. So it becomes pretty obvious that Urd is a half-breed angel/demon mix, this will become a plot point later on in the franchise that I like a lot, Urd being my fave girl in the show and all. Anyways, Skuld is also part of the whole drama, because of course she is, I liked this little frame where she imagines that her angel is just going to look like Belldandy.

At the start of this one, Urd just deadass gives Keiichi a porn book and says like *hint* *hint* *nudge* *nudge* you know what to do, use this as "reference". Kind of the highpoint of the episode, imho this is not one of the best ones, I'm not really a big fan of genderbending one-off gags. But that aside, all the problems this episode are caused because Skuld is being scheming little goblin again and putting stuff in other peoples food. They should just straight up ban her from making stuff that people are going to eat or drink because it literally never ends well.

Due to the shenanigans of Urd and Skuld, we get a, shall we say, ...interesting episode. They accidentally put together a potion that makes Belldandy incredibly horny.
Hilarity aside, don't do drugs kids.

It's beach episode time boiii. Sadly, the image kind of sums up the story. Keiichi tries so hard but the laws of comedy-romance anime are ironclad, you gotta suffer through being the butt end of the joke for 60 or so episodes before you get a chance to get the girl. I feel the pain of the homie, but thems the rules.

Just a little side story episode with the glasses girl. Very cute and wholesome.
