Not all of my content is geared towards adults who think about adult things. Here I am reading my favorite story as a child that my Grandmother read to me from the same edition that I am reading from here. I will doing a Children's Fireside Story Time video once a month on Sunday evenings & will be reading from antique children's books just like my Grandmother read to me. Tonight's story is Beatrix Potter's Tale of Peter Rabbit, which I am reading in honor of the Easter Holiday.

The book I am reading is a 1907 Henry Altemus Illustrated Edition and is the same edition I was read as a child. I'm so happy I can bring back an old family tradition & be the 4th generation of my family to read this book for kids.

You can get a free PDF copy of this book from:

All of my family friendly content will include the hashtags above, and you can rest assured that the theme and content is kid friendly and has no strong language or themes.

I was originally planning on uploading this video on May 1st, but the best laid plans of mice and men as they say. Any combat vet will tell you that a good plan must always be adaptable to changing situations and environments.

This is a dramatic reading of my favorite speech by my favorite President, Theodore Roosevelt, titled "The Danger." It was originally delivered on Labor Day, 1903, in Syracuse New York. I'm reading it from the only book it was ever published in, "The Meaning of Modern Life" which was originally published in 1907 & that was the only year that book was published. I came across an original copy for $1.00 in a used bookstore that was going out of business.

This speech has not been heard by human ears in 116 years as it was never recorded or filmed.

You can download a free PDF copy of the book I'm reading from at the Library of Archives website at:

Yeah, this is a fuming tirade and you should be aware that I do use language which I only use when I am very angry. I've been hearing all these unhinged leftists complaining about the 600 million bucks raised to rebuild Notre Dame and saying that the money should be spent on the poor. I'm poor, and I can say that those people have done Jack Nathan for me since the end of the Great Depression and the conditions in my neighborhood have only gotten worse since then & they blame conservatives on these conditions that they themselves created and exacerbated with their decades of failed policies and failed fixes for those failed policies.

I use a portion of a video uploaded by Steven Crowder today as a basis for what I have to say. I don't always agree with everything Mr. Crowder has to say, but in this case, I have some added value to some important points that he skipped (likely for time constraint reasons) which clarify some of the nuance of the complex issue of social mobility in the United States in 2019. In this video, I show you how I make coffee every morning. I recorded this at 7:00AM EDT when I was actually making my morning coffee. I only pay $1.01 for every pot of coffee I make compared to the (average) $6.57 per pot of electric drip coffeemaker coffee & as much as $2.57 PER CUP that those weird Keurig style machines make.

Why spend money you don't have to and get what is essentially a convenient, but pretty bad cup of of coffee? My Grandmother made coffee like this her whole life, from the same type of pot I use today. She taught me this skill when I was 16 years old and she started letting me drink coffee (as opposed to the Postum I drank as a child.) Now I'm sharing that skill with you! Enjoy!

I briefly discuss my background and what my intentions are with my house and this channel.

This is my first YouTube upload. Please forgive any editing mistakes or screw-ups, I literally had to teach myself how to use Premier using YouTube videos. In this video, I bring attention to 2 obscure pieces of American history as an object lesson in what people can work together to do. In one instance, a house was built in 12 hours flat as a wedding gift for a local Toledo newlywed couple by over 200 people working together to build the city up. Then, 20 years later, the sons of those folks worked together and tore the city to shreds in the Electric Auto-Lite Strike of 1934 which began to-day, April 12th, 85 years ago. I also take you on a brief tour of Temporalia House and what it's like living a Great Depression Lifestyle. Part 1 of 2.

Which is still being set up. There is also a GoFundMe page being established as well. Your support can help me keep this house from being taken by the city & continue the project to show young folks how we all lived a long time ago and learn lessons they can use in their modern lives today. Thank you for taking the time to watch my very first video!
