This video is a follow up to my INTJ Autonomy video. It is a requested topic.

It is very common for INTJs, who are naturally autonomous, feel that this life may well be all that there is. I am going to share my ideas on how to deal with this belief. I am hoping to help the viewer to face forms of Nihilism without self pity or depression.

INTJs have some great gifts but we also face a number of things we find challenging. I will discuss 5 things that INTJs struggle with in our lives. Groups, romance, and other hurdles we encounter and must deal with.

The INTJ is naturally autonomous. It isn't a gift from others, it is inborn. We naturally choose to act in ways that seem right to us without a lot of regard to what others think.

And then there is school. What can you do with an autonomous child in a classroom? School demands uniformity. Autonomy is like sand in the gears of the machinery. An INTJ is outside the group, but in later school years we tend to figure out the game and often end up at the top of the class, autonomously.

This video is the beginning of a set of videos I hope to create on how autonomy leads us into a worldview that can be troubling to many. When you think for yourself you will not line up easily with what others view as being correct. We do not follow the herd, and therefore by definition our path will be our own, and often it will be quite different from what society assumes is correct.

INTJs are often known as quiet loners. I discuss this part of our personality and also the lesser known quality of being very talkative in the right circumstances.

I discuss ideas that have helped lead me to inner peace as an INTJ.

My poem:

Dotti
******
Each golden morn, I see my girl;
Her smile makes waking a joy to me.
When I come home in the even time,
She’s there at the door to greet me.

chorus
Dot, Dot our life is sweet.
The gift of love you have made complete.
You will know that I still love you,
As long as you hear my heart beat.

If I should live to a ripe old age,
With hair as white as the fresh new snow;
I will treasure each hour with you,
And each will still make my love grow.

Dot, Dot how can you be,
So sweet, so kind eternally?
Oh girl my words can't express,
The feelings I have for my Dotti.

In this video I discuss The INTJ Enneagram 5.

I talk about the characteristics of the Enneagram 5 personality type and give several examples in my own life where the typical behavior of a type 5 was shown, upon reflection.

I discuss the sneaky way that the tendency towards Avarice got me for years, without my knowing at the time. It was a truly wonderful discovery when I learned out to rid myself of long term struggles I had.

I am a 5 with a 4 wing and I also discuss a bit about how that tempers my overall 5 personality traits.

Thank you Gv Athvaidh for suggesting this topic to me! It has engrossed me for several days preparing for it. And as is usually the case with study, the more I learned, the more found that I still need to learn. That is a sign of a great topic.

Here is the link to the talk I referred to in the video: "Type 5 on the Enneagram." If you are an Enneagram 5, I highly recommend that you watch it, because it will be worth your time: https://youtu.be/0pnAyMLRsPg

In this video I discuss the difference between an INTJ Assertive Personality type and an INTJ Turbulent Personality type. I give examples from my own experience on how being an Assertive type affected how I approached certain situations.

It has been said that when an emergency happens, you want to have an INTJ around to handle it. I discuss why in this video.

- Preparation
- Response
- Mental calculation
- Rational

An INTJ always wants to be prepared for everything that might happen. He hates surprises. He identifies things that can go wrong before they do. INTJs also know how things works, which is very useful in an emergency.

I discuss five things that an INTJ student would love for his teachers and his parents to know, that would make life better for the INTJ. School could be fantastic for INTJs. If you are a teacher or a parent, you can help to make it happen.

After you have created your list of required qualifications you wish to find in a friend, here is how to proceed to use that this productively to find a friend or even a mate for life.
