Reignite Democracy Australia held a peaceful protest in Melbourne on 23rd October 2020 against Daniel Andrews (aka Chairman Dan). There were thousands of people there, and the media reported only two hundred. The protest was peaceful, and many families were there, including mothers with babies. The media only showed conflict involving a handful of young males. Police provoked a reaction. A line of police (mainly women judging from their short stature) joined arms and pushed forward on the protestors AFTER the potesters had finished their speeches and were starting to disband. The protesters were alomst without exception trying to avoid conflict. a man in his sixties who was only discharged from hospital the day before was arrested and handled roughly by police. When a friend politly informed the police he had a significant health problem, he was ignored. When the man asked for badge numbers and names, informing them they were now responsible for his health, he too was arrested. He is 72 years old and a pacifist. He has cuts to his arms where handcuffs were applied. Police refused to loosen them.
There were a few tight groups of military attired individuals in black behind the police. The dress and training of these suggests they are from the United Nations; as seen active in some American cities. They are crack forces, specially trained for urban warfare.
These troops came though the police line like a spearhead and dragged targeted individuals back behind the line to subdue them, with the police joining arms again once they had accomplished their goal. The local police had been trained on how to cooperate with these guys. They were rude and vicious.
There is legitimate concern about who these troops really are and why they are here. Australians need to sever the connection with the UN as far as this policing is concerned. Foreign military and police do not belong on our soil!
