I sit here and wait for creativity's God, to whisper secrets about Universe's story, poem, and song.
Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.
When you wake up after a dream, things seem unreal. You can't believe what has happened. It's always best to light a candle then to curse the darkness.

Stay Creative in Life's Magic
The Golden Rod by the lake
Sun shines through clouds
A gentle wind moves across the scene
My car windows open
Talk radio on my pocket radio
My driver's seat inclined
I close my eyes to rest, to de-stress
Heal and reboot this body
Healing comes to those who ask.

Through the many years, we have let this great country degrade from the top down in who we put into office. It is time now to do something or we will lose what we have. We all need to be more hands on when it comes to the government. We are in for some real challenges, but together we can succeed. The choice is always ours to will our not or become part of the melting pot as one of my poems say in this show. The show is on the style of Dark Side of the Moon and it starts with the poem titled "Two Roads" and it ends with "Manna". This is my message to America.
My first poems are in this book. In this book, I span a year of poetry, of seeing myself reflected in the seasons. I also experiment with voice as I talk with characters along the way.

I performed 10 poems from my book "My Soul's Journey". They are many more poems too explore in this book. This book is a culmination of the my the A Soul's Journey chapbooks, where I explore poetry, time, death, and my first exploration into what the soul and angels are. People say travel broadens the mind. It does this and you can discover new world of the mind to explore and experience. Come, enjoy the journey.

We all need and should review our past actions and works, any journals, songs, projects because we can get inspiration for someone we're doing today or inspiration for something we need to do. We all have grown and have gained wisdom, so use that knowledge for today.
The power of an idea, the thought thought, changes the world we live. Word = Idea and changes how we change in our experience here on Earth.
Listen and Change forever what you think of as reality.
Enter a new realm where you battle real life dragons.

I wrote this on Memorial Day weekend and was inspired by my drive along the Kangamangus Highway.
I started this weekend with a soundseeing through the White Mountain National Forest. I then went over to Crawford Notch, and ended the day along the Kancamagus Highway. You can hear the soundseeing on my blog at robertg.blogspot.com The poems in this video are ones that was inspired by that day, Saturday May 29,2021.
I also followed my thought "Swift water though granite" and got one poem out of the day. It inspired the first poem. The Untamed Land was inspired by the Kancamagus highway.
Poetic Philosophy is a show where I talk about my worldview from a poetic perspective using entertainment, news, politics, spirituality or anything else that I can think about in the moment.
I love to travel and may use soundseeing in my show as I try and stay creative in the magic of life and enjoy the journey of life because we only go around life once, unless you believe in reincarnation.
Change is constant. We may not like the type of change but, it happens to teach us something new. This is what poet's do, learn and write about the moments of life.

This podcast is all about poetry and finding poetry. In this show, I wrote a poem for pictures that I took on my May 8, 2021 hike up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It took me a few weeks to find the poems that were lost in the woods but once I found them I recorded them and put them with the photos that inspired the poems.
This is an exercise anyone can do if they want to write a poem, song, or even tell a story even it that story is short. You can find all sorts of stuff in the White Mountains or any mountain or scene where you live, so go out and have an adventure this Memorial Day weekend. I don't forget to think about those who fought and died for the freedom we enjoy in this country.
In New Hampshire our states motto is a quote by General John Stark, which is written on his statue in Stark Park in Manchester, New Hampshire. Here's the quote:
"Live free or die, death is not the worst of evils."
Meditate on the quote and see what comes up. Have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends and if you see any space aliens have fun with them too, if they know how to have fun.

Poetic Philosophy episode 21 -- Service
by The Jedipoet (Robert G. Parent)
"How can you best serve? Look at the landscape of the work that needs done and make the best DECISION you can about the part that you will play and move forward with all your strength. If you have a degree of soul contact listen to the inner voice as you work. If you are working in the right direction you will sense a feeling of approval from your Higher Self. If you have chosen incorrectly you will feel conflict within yourself." by JJ Dewey from his article "The Highest Service" on his website at FreeRead.com.
Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me bring love.
Where there is offence, let me bring pardon.
Where there is discord, let me bring union.
Where there is error, let me bring truth.
Where there is doubt, let me bring faith.
Where there is despair, let me bring hope.
Where there is darkness, let me bring your light.
Where there is sadness, let me bring joy.
O Master, let me not seek as much
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love,
for it is in giving that one receives,
it is in self-forgetting that one finds,
it is in pardoning that one is pardoned,
it is in dying that one is raised to eternal life
