In January 2022, we drove through a storm to the Arctic to move into our "new" 200 year old house in the northern islands of Lofoten. With 2 dogs and a cat that had never been on a long car trip before, it was an adventure for us all. We will be sharing our adventures renovating the house and setting up our new businesses and we live in this extreme place.

Machiavelli lived during the exciting and drama-filled times of the Medici and the Renaissance of Florence, Italy. He is best known for his short work “The Prince” which was a manual on statecraft and how to take and hold power for leaders. His name is synonymous with deceit, but that isn't a fair attribution. He was smart, and as we know, people who hold and wield power aren't interested in us decoding their work.

I just recently read The Prince and wanted to introduce you, if you weren’t already familiar, with this singular work on power and politics. If we apply some of these principles to our life and work, we are guaranteed to see more success in life. I go through a randomly selected 5 principles he discusses in his book and see how we can apply them to our lives. At 90 pages, it is a quick read, so I encourage you to get a copy for yourself. We all have a right to take back out own power in this world.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the Age of Aquarius is now here, and this age will require us to be the best we can be on our own, being our authentic selves.

Here, we have learned how to raise animals from no experience in the Arctic to providing much of our own food for the year on our mountain farm in Telemark.

We have a single goal in making these videos: to share the beauty of nature and our farming life. We are trying to make at least one video a week as an exercise in the discipline of film production and storytelling.

Millions of people have seen my work, they just don't know it. I have worked as a digital artist in the entertainment industry in California making artwork for feature films. In 2008 I had a total burnout and dropped the fast paced digital lifestyle of San Francisco and moved to Norway.
