This is the 100th Speed Art video.
I've painted 335 so far, I've filled 47 sketchbooks, so far.
When I did the nose on the painted version I un-did it and re-did it to make sure it wasn't a fluke.
If it went wrong I would've had no way to go back because Photoshop has undo-limits.
I was super happy with the turnouts, I noticed I always tend to use mundane colours first then towards the end breath some life [stronger colours] into it.
I tend to see colours like that too mhmm, not really sure what that means.
It did take 3x as long to complete the 2nd one and another thing, they are 2 weeks apart in terms of when I actually did them. When I repeat art I try not to do it same-day kinda thing, my hands can't handle the stress and I feel it is easier to produce when looking at it with fresh eyes.
This was fun, took way longer, spread over 3 days for the painted one, but it was worth it I think.
Really the title should be, 'Me then vs Me 2 weeks later' but thats a weird title for a speedart video.
One minute they say wear masks, THEN they say don't wear masks
THEN they say the WHO said it was required THEN THEY FLIP FLOPPED,
GOLLY, THEN THEY SAID IT WAS JUST A PRECAUTION THEN WE GOT THE STATS, ALL THE NARRATIVES STARTED CRUMBLING,
NOW ITS BEING MANDATED LMAAAO WHAT IN THE WORLD...
those on my thoughts on the mask ^
On the bright side at least they look cool lol
I wanted to compare the 2 colour schemes while also experimenting -
or rather, experimenting with 2 colour schemes; ah yes, that makes more sense.
The second attempt was faster because I had planned far better - thanks to the first attempt.
I can assure you, this is not my final form.

A great character development, a big cry baby at the start,
makes you wanna try harder though.
this anime is great, some really hate it, I'm not sure why,
it is what it is...
strange anatomy lets just call that style for now lol...
Awaiting the next season U.U
Ah yes, cloths...
Wanted to see how the outro would look and how I'd feel without a logo and signature pop up, does not feelsgoodman.
I stopped drawing eyes like this, but I won't lie, its really fun.
I've done a few more since finishing this one,
I'm sure I could totally be a h***i artists, make of that what you will.
For now I am drawing the line,
In the meantime, I surely do plan to add some stuff to Etsy REAL soon, I get really sucked into producing art, honestly I'm just procrastinating lol.
I sure did a lot of colour correction as I did this,
I originally was trying to experiment with an unsual pallete,
Gave her the crazy eyes xD
This came out really clean,
This is probably one of the better outcomes for sure,
the aberration works well on her too!
I Should really try to draw eyes like this more often.
Not sure what to say for this one...
REALLY satistifed with how the shadows came out,
using the lasso tool when possible makes for sharper and larger shadow area.
I am sure if I did cell shading only enough I'd end up using it a ton, I know for sure Sakami-Chan [other artist] use this method for doing some of their shadows.
I do wish I could, or rather did draw a mature looking face, but I am satisfied, better to not overthink...
I kept the chromatic aberration on the purple, this was quite the experiment for myself.
I'll use both digital and traditional lineart interchangeably, that is the final draw from this .
Doing it twice gave me the opportunity to use a different colour scheme and helped sharpen my aim for what I was doing in the digial-linart version.
I could've just changed the hue and saturation of the colour, but I wouldn't get the chance to actually compare in real-time with hard evidence.
I really like the outcome, of both, its a shame I can't phyiscally work longer hours per week >_<
but it is what it is...
This was definitely a good idea.
I hope you agree :D
This is quite the amalgamation aha'
I remained unsure of if to reline or not,
something about keeping the integrity of the traditional parts...
Song: Paul Garzon - Survivors
Music promoted by FMW. Released by Magic.
Not so sure thats an appropriate title,
I worked on this and what is to follow at 2 seperate times, I have to take more than normal regular breaks because reasons'.
The good thing, it gives me a fresh look a number of times,
this helps tremendously with not getting caught up attempting to redo parts over and over!
I really like the Mascot Suit design,
A good learning experiance painting something other than a girl for a change.
Something about the eyes...
Oh, I had to slow down rendering and uploading, my room was turning into a furnace...
I wanted to bring it to digital to test modification and push my art process a bit further; the mask was last minute but I really like it, I hope you do too.
At the end I used Chromatic Aberration, off-record I did some other tests to see where it was applicable, still a lot to learn and experiment with that, maybe I'll ask some photography-friends if they have any cool information for me; the internet is also a great provider to be fair. O.O
This is one of the few that I worked on for an extended amount of time, usually I put in around 1.5hours to 2.5hours per artwork,
I am NOT doing that deliberately, I think I am getting quite a lot done in very little time though I have no way to measure the accuracy of such statement.
This was a wild ride,
I was fiddling around with some perspective lines at the start and some after-fx I recently learned!
It was a challenge getting the first log right, but once I understood the rules, the rest just sort of built itself; certainly not the outcome I was expecting, definately more entertaining to look at though!
Yes I obsessively name as much as I can.
Had a bit of fun with some specialfx!
To put it bluntly: I wanted to expand my horizon,
I am definitely aware that doing the same thing over and over is actually a trap!
This was quite bizarre to get through, I don't think I could do this a 2nd time. For now.
Not sure if to age restrict? Its just art in my head o.o
This was made to reinforce the previous 2 pieces and their lessons regarding skin and gloss.
This was also done to reinforce how I was getting the lineart, repition solidifies the process in-mind, literally.
Using the alternative method of pulling my lineart! [see previous if not sure]
I think I do prefer the thicker lines, but it doesnt make too much sense in my head though it definately pops more.
I wanted to step a bit further out of my comfort-zone, have the character interacting either passively or actively;
I chose passive here, sitting on a box!
Usually, I have avoided attempting to rip lineart straight out of my traditional drawings, but recently, it occured to me people are see the pictures and entertainment from a distance and not 99% up close to the screen.
So I decided with this in mind, to sharpen my 'Photoshop Skills', I'll tried to do thicker lineart and mix in the normal thinner too and see what kinda results I can pull. [PIGMA 5 + 10]
This worked in my favour too as I learned a rather interesting trick for obtaining the traditional lineart.
Truely, watching it and doing it is definately not the same thing. [I am the attempt, watch, analyse, learn kinda person].
this is pretty chaotic, but i think it works, give me a few more goes, youll see.
in hindsight, there are definately better ways to do the grss, but i can do that next time
a huge benefit of recording and rewatching, it blends so nicely with my learning style, so its
kinda a blessing in disguise.
My I kept going over this darker and darker for the few 3/4 because my friend kept complaining,
but she rarely comments so I went along and was not disappointed.
Coming full circle it seems!
She was exciting to paint.
I think I am getting better *thinking face*
It was unfortunate losing some footage,
but it worked out in the end,
at the start I thought I'd start colouring with curves, not really sure how I feel about it now that I've seen what the outcome was lol.
Cloths are still outside of that comfort zone, but I'll take the plunge anyway!
I hope all is well to those i lockdown or working during this strange time ! :)

Man I love Naruto, Shippuden is great too, Boruto is growing on me.
... I'll share a tiny bit about myself, mostly my old-self:
I was first introduced to Naruto when I was maybe 9 or 10? Latest I'd say 11, would see it occasionally before I asked myself 'so what the hell is this??' I'd see it on 'Jetix';
I got hooked when I recognized the loneliness and understood why he was raging out so often; school was tough, REALLY tough. As I got through life I was happy to find out I was not actually alone in that feeling, and that was un-ironically much less lonely.
From primary all the way to 6th form/college I'd have these fits of rage, I actually got known for that for a few years too, wasn't great, people would intentionally try to trigger it >_<
As I got older I got better at controlling it, maybe snapped once or twice since then; through Uni-life and beyond I believe it has allowed, enabled and assisted me to assimilate it, literally.
This above is why I got attached to Young Naruto.
Older Naruto is overall a really good role model, though he could talk to Boruto more... that is the cost of becoming Hokage I guess.
No I unfortunately do not have a 9 tailed beast :(
but I have met people who seem like they are definitely possessed by something. Might've even been them at one point D:
I used to have a friend whom is now hopefully a Dr, he would always tell me not to empathize or connect my life or the happenings with a fictional characters and events and honestly, I think he is a fool for that and possibly missing the actual point.
Like Naruto now, I have true friends now and all the support I could need and like I have them, I hope you do too.
Marineford was one of the best arcs!
From 2012 till now, I've done this now once in pencil, ink, water colour and finally, now, digital!
It was very fun, very tiring, I think I really enjoy doing water like this.
I wonder how fire would look o.o

I was going to wait till Monday but I really wanted to upload this, so I'll do it here first!
Animation at the end? not quite :( But I think close enough for now!
Moving more ink-work into the digital space!
She had quite the wardrobe malfunction,
I had one idea, then moved to another,
then tried fusing the two, that just felt wrong lol
Eventually found my way!
Animation? not quite :( But I think close enough for now!
This somehow took 3.5hours

Need motivation? Need to find a reason to get your sh*t together? Need to check if you still feel things? = My Hero Acadamia is sure to fill those needs and many more.
I first caught this, must've been 3-4 years ago, definitely blew me away, I new for sure it would become as big as if not bigger than, at the time, the current Big 3.
I cannot stress this enough, I recommend this anime to everyone, even if your not an anime-watcher. If you can, the Sub over the Dub.

Lots of art! Mostly digital!
Things happen, one thing led to another, and here we are.
There is a literal limit to what I can do for now -.-
My arms are not really playing ball like they supposed to, moving on...
I try to do something better each piece, hence why I often start differently.
I am sure there is something for everyone
You could say, I am pretty resilient
