#YankeeDoodle is a well-known #AmericanSong, the early versions of which date to before the #SevenYearsWar and the #AmericanRevolution.[1] It is often sung patriotically in the #UnitedStates today and is the state anthem of #Connecticut.[2] Its #RoudFolkSongIndex number is 4501. The melody is thought to be much older than both the lyrics and the subject, going back to folk songs of #MedievalEurope - for more see #wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yankee_Doodle

In the lessons we'll be taking an in depth look into the workings of a #TremoloHarmonica with 24 holes, focusing on the key of C we'll look at the individual notes of each hole and how to play the C major scale in 3 octaves.

Tremolo #harmonicas are a type of harmonica, distinct by having two reeds per note. In a #tremoloharmonica the two reeds are tuned slightly off a reference pitch, one slightly sharp and the other slightly flat. This gives a unique wavering or warbling sound created by the two reeds being not exactly in tune with each other and difference in their subsequent waveforms acting against one another.... for more please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tremolo_harmonica

#GodDefendNewZealand (Māori: "#Aotearoa", lit. 'New Zealand') is one of two #NationalAnthems of #NewZealand, the other being "#GodSavetheQueen". Legally the two have equal status, but "God Defend New Zealand" is more commonly used. Originally written as a poem, it was set to music as part of a competition in #1876. Over the years its popularity increased, and it was eventually named the second national anthem in 1977. It has #English and #Māori lyrics, with slightly different meanings. Since the late 1990s, the usual practice when performed in public is to perform the first verse of the national anthem twice, first in Māori and then in English. Here's how to play the English song Ten Green Bottles on the diatonic harmonica in the key of C.

Please consider donating $1 to us on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/keringedge!

"#TenGreenBottles" is a children's #repetitivesong that is popular in the #UnitedKingdom.[1][2] In essence, the song is a single verse repeated, each time with one bottle fewer:[3]

Ten green bottles hanging on the wall,
Ten green bottles hanging on the wall,
And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,
There'll be nine green bottles hanging on the wall.

Nine green bottles hanging on the wall,
Nine green bottles hanging on the wall,
And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,
There'll be eight green bottles hanging on the wall.

.................

One green bottle hanging on the wall,
One green bottle hanging on the wall,
And if one green bottle should accidentally fall,
There'll be no green bottles hanging on the wall.

This pattern continues until the number of bottles reaches zero. The final verse ends with "There'll be no green bottles hanging on the wall."

The word "standing" or "sitting" is sometimes substituted for "hanging". Various other versions of the lyrics exist, many of them vulgar or satirical. For more visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Green_Bottles
