In the Battle of Stalingrad, more than a million people died. They either froze or starved to death. This included Russians, Romanians, Italians, Hungarians, Germans, Austrians. Of the 260,000 trapped soldiers from the German 6th Army, 91,000 were captured. Only 6,000 of them returned later to their homes.

Today marks the day where the events of the Attack of the Dead Men happened. On August 6th, the Germans launched their chlorine gas attack against the Russian defenders at Osoweic Fortress. Over twelve battalions of the 11th Landwehr Division, making up 7000 men, advanced after the gas attack and expecting little resistance. They were met at the first defense line by a counter-charge by the 60–100 survivors of the 13th Company of the Russian 226th Infantry Regiment. The Germans became panicked by the bloody appearance of the Russians—the latter coughing up blood due to the gas—and retreated. The five remaining Russian guns subsequently opened fire on the fleeing Germans. This incident has been called "the Attack of the Dead Men".

Hello guys, just wanted to say that my account has been sadly terminated for "hate speech' again. I'll try to make an update video if I can but it looks like this is it mates. I am permanently ousted from the Youtube platform. While I am very heartbroken at that fact I am more angry that Youtube deliberately targeted videos commemorating veterans and events throughout history like the one displayed in this video. I'll slowly try to re-upload everything but It will take some time and Bitchute is rather slow and decreases the quality of many of the videos but at least they allow free speech.
