Tesla Model 3 gets a little wet. I didn't see the viaduct was flooded until it was too late. The car floated for about a second in the deep water. No damage. Even the frunk was dry.

Don't worry, I was in compliance with the governors executive order.

Dashcam footage, Tesla Sentry footage, and Arlo security camera footage capture this raccoon troublemaker. This guy chewed through two charging cables, one from my Chevy Volt, and another from my Tesla Model 3, causing about $1000 worth of damage. He also took a dump on my workbench in the garage. Time for him to to go... and then come back.

It did good, but I still need snow tires. It's difficult to induce intentional oversteer like you can normally do with a quick tweak of the accelerator on another vehicle. It tends to be very stable. Braking distance is not good. Steering at speed is also not terrific.

Hold stopping mode (new feature with 2019.36.2.1, blends friction brakes) did not appear to induce any sliding.

Finally, a practical use of Enhanced Summon.

Just trying out the head-turning new feature, enhanced summon, just dropped yesterday for general release. I got my v10 update this afternoon.

Because this is the Interwebs and why not? Also recorded with a potato so you can't read anything.

A couple sort-of close calls from Friday.

AutoPilot changes lanes, exits the highway, and turns left (almost).

It doesn't do it well (yet), but here's my Tesla Model 3 exiting the highway on Navigate on AutoPilot (NOAP), and then turning left at the traffic light. I had to take control since it couldn't quite figure out the lane, but this is the first time I had the car make a left turn.

Two common household items: Americium from a smoke detector, and a pitcher (which happens to be glazed with Uranium because we are humans and do stupid stuff like that).

Seems legit.

Driving through the fire trails of Manistee National Forest.

Model 3 Dual Motor has open differentials both front and rear, but uses friction brakes to bind up whichever wheel is spinning free to force torque to the other wheel (in the Jeep community, they call this Brake Lock Differential). This allows for recovery even if three wheels have lost traction. It can make 252HP to the rear wheels (switched reluctance motor) and 197HP to the front (induction motor).
