The Stolen Generation is an idea that Australian governments had a policy to remove Aboriginal children from families based on their race. Problem is, it’s a myth.
It’s a completely fabricated lie, there was never any such policy. In this video I discuss where the term came from and point out why we need to stop pushing it.
It’s damaging and dangerous and stops people from doing the right thing for want of seeming “racist.”
Aboriginal children deserve much better than to be left in misery because of the Stolen Generation myth.
