This video will help you start in your preparation for a clean Linux installation. The concepts will be the same whether you're going to take an older computer and give it new life (because Windows makes it slower than molasses in January), or you've built a brand new box with all the top of the line components and you want to see how far you can push it.
I try to make this as easy as possible while also explaining "why" and not just "how". Don't worry; I don't get too technical. I'm making these videos to help you understand that Linux is Easy, Fun, and Beneficial!

I'm not a dyed in the wool techie, but I am a bit geeky. I use Linux for my every day work including making videos, working on audio, surfing the web (too much), sending out email, and writing. I switched from Windows to Linux in 2017. A lot of friends and family have mentioned that I'm pretty good at explaining how to do things on the computer, and they suggested that I start my own tutorial series. It sounded like a good idea to me, so here we are! I'll try to help anyone who's trying to cross over from Windows or Mac to Linux. I promise I won't try to get too technical, but I'll give you some tech information...just because. Enjoy!
