The NVA was the army of the German Democratic Republic. Nowadays referred to by many militaria collectors and interested as the "last German army", as they let many old traditions live on despite the opposite ideological attitude.

This song was played by the Central Orchestra of the Ministry of the Interior of the GDR.

"Brüder seht die rote Fahne" is one of the most famous strike songs of American and English transport workers, whose German text was written in 1921 by Edwin Hörnle (as a battle song of the English revolutionaries). Originally a church song Hold the Fort - "Brüder seht die Bundesfahne - In the German labour movement the song was sung a lot, the melody was even used for football songs.

Today the Social Democratic Party in Germany still sings this song!

《《《LYRICS 》》》

Denk' an den Auftrag, Genosse,
wenn Du auf Posten stehst!
Denke an die Kinder,
die Du glücklich spielen siehst!

Vergiss nie das Glück des Tages
und das Schweigen der Nacht,
werden vor den Feinden
von deiner Hand bewacht!

Um zu lieben, muss man hassen können,
man muss wissen, wo man steht!
𝄆 Man muss die Feinde beim Namen nennen,
damit es vorwärts geht! 𝄇

Sei nie zufrieden, Genosse,
mit dem, was du erreichst.
Heut' Leben wir im Frieden.
Sorg' dafür, dass es so bleibt!

Zu geben die ganze Kraft,
den höchsten auf uns'rer Welt,
dem Frieden und dem Leben.
Die Losung ist gestellt!

Um zu lieben, muss man hassen können,
man muss wissen, wo man steht!
𝄆 Man muss die Feinde beim Namen nennen,
damit es vorwärts geht! 𝄇

People's Police Alert Units were a militarized police force under the control of the Ministry of Interior and considered part of the Armed Forces, but were never part of the National People's Army or the Ministry of National Defense. They were not a simple riot police!

These were up to 15,000 men consisting of motorized infantry and artillery, among others.
This song should emphasize the readiness of the troupe.

The DEFA, the most important film studio of the German Democratic Republic, published over a dozen Western films during the Cold War. Also called "Indian films" in East Germany because the heroes and main characters were Native Americans who resisted the oppressive imperialist US.

In these films, especially Germans and Slavs played the main roles, including Gojko Mitic as the main actor. Later, Mongols were hired as supporting actors. After that they were lavishly dubbed and shown throughout the Eastern bloc in the cinemas.

A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.

Welcome to the YouTube Channel Liang Zhu!

Music embodies man, just like any other form of art. Innate feelings and tragic stories have been expressed for millennia.
So that music is an image of the human being and his soul.
The goal of this channel is to spread musical works across seas so that we can enjoy the music together.
Since sharing is paramount, no money is generated by the channel and it wont be used commercially any time soon.

At the beginning the channel will concentrate on Eurasian music - espacially marches and folk songs of the soviet/communist period.

The channel is politically neutral.
All songs with political statements and positions are a work of history and society and are uploaded because of their melody and not their ideological background.
Music that contradicts these terms of service are never intentionally uploaded.
