It may sound like I'm backtracking, but really, I'm not. I have always been a believer in personal choice, and if you choose to do something good or bad, that's on you. I can only speak to what I think personally, and the things I say aren't just "medical misinformation." I'm a fucking scientist who works in the biomedical field for Christ sake. I'm also an avid lover of real science. All of my claims are very easily searchable on Google, and they give you results from academic journals such as Nature.

For my entire life, I have heard talk of "choice" and rhetoric of the future effectively being a meaningless concept, well here I offer a counter to that. This is an attitude I have noticed more and more as time has gone on. It has to go if we want to have a society in the future.

America will not be the same after the events in the Capital, not for the reasons you might think either. For a long time, I have watched as America has torn itself apart piece by piece, dismantling its history, questioning its ideas of truth and goodness, erasing its "offensive" history.
What happens now is exactly what America deserves. It may not be what the people deserve individually, and indeed I have American friends and follows, but this is exactly what the US deserves because it dared to ignore its issues for so damn long.
Stay safe. Protect yourselves. If you haven't left the cities yet, leave them now. This is a dark path and it is only getting darker, and it leads to a long, dark road of which the nation may not return in one piece. And the worst part? Most Americans welcomed it through either agreement and direct support, or through complacency in flagging up and questioning the decisions made by the powers that be and their cronies.
NOW is too late to act. NOW is a reaction. You should have stormed out of the tyrannical cities, not into them. Now there are politicians drawing up laws to have you executed. You took far too long to fight this.
