Using the amazing channel Transformers at the Moon (YouTube), I have reinserted deleted dialogue and extended versions of scenes to create an extended cut of the first two scenes of the MTMTE pilot mini-series. I have added in some dialogue from the '86 movie because I plan to use this as the opening for my GI Joe vs. Transformers series and need to build the backstory.

Animation Errors Corrected: I never liked how Soundwave was tranforming right when Jazz drove by. No way, Jazz would not have seen him, so I used masks to have Jazz drive by *after * Soundwave had transformed.

Audio Errors Corrected: I never liked Megatron's voice being used when he wasn't on screen, so added Starscream instead and it fits perfectly.
Also removed any breathing sounds from the voice actors that the microphones picked up, most notably a slight grunt originally heard when Wheeljack was picking up the energy conductors.

Potential Animation Errors Corrected: Removed Earth alt-modes from movie clip since would not exist in story yet

Another mashup that popped in my head the other day. Inspired by the brilliant song by Iron Maiden, I got thinking of the Hate Plague from the Return of Optimus Prime, and then of Galvatron and that great Third Seasons episode Webworld. In this video Galvatron saves the day. His madness gives him unique insight into the so-called "Hate Plague".

This was my fourth Mashup video edit project and produced April 2019.

Mashup up of the Talking Heads and GI Joe

Shipwreck awakens to find himself suffering from amnesia and in a battle to determine what is real and what isn't.

I've seen this song used in countless movie trailers, but never the actual movie. A great song by the Talking Heads and a great video in its own right, this song just pops in my head when I think of the classic Shipwreck two-parter spotlight from the original GI Joe cartoon.

I got this song 18 and a Life by Skid Row in my head one day. It truly is a moving song about a hothead kid who is facing life in jail after poor choices. For some reason, I could not stop thinking about Hot Rod. Here is my take on a music video about him using footage from the movie and the amazingly moving song from the late 80s.

Hot Rod gets a lot of hate in the Transformers fandom and he is controversial. This mashup is a pseudo-tribute, though I am not sure that is the correct phrasing. This song and images from the Transformers movie just popped in my head on my commute one day. I was thinking of the lyrics and scenes I know from the movie with a few clips from Five Faces of Darkness to fill it in. I had a basic storyboard in my head within minutes and put this to together in about 2 hours. The clips from the movie are so well animated and lend themselves to a different timeline in telling the story in this video mashup. I was so pleased with how it turned out, I even went out and ordered the DVD so the quality would be better. Enjoy.

This was my second attempt at a Mashup video edit project and produced March 2019.

What if Spike never got his mind transferred back into his own body? What if Autobot Spike was all a dream. This mashup explores alternate realities and is open to your own interpretation using the video for Metallica's One as a base. The Johnny's Got His Gun Clips have always added to the song and I tried to match them with footage from the original Transformers cartoon.
