Today, Project Veritas published the second chapter of our story released earlier this week, detailing “the Washington way,” in which massive contracts are brokered on a basis of “politics first, policy second.” Former Biden Transition Team Official and Deep Water Associates principal, Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, explains how his migrant relocation deal with New York City Mayor, Eric Adams, went “horribly wrong.”

On Tuesday, August 8th, Project Veritas exposed the “corrupt bargain” between Cherokee Federal, a tribal-owned federal contractor arm of the Cherokee Nation, and the Department of Health and Human Services, to manage post-relief migrant care and the relocation of unaccompanied migrant children. The contract, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, was brokered despite Cherokee Federal’s lack of expertise in the field.

In a quote published yesterday by the Washington Examiner, Georgia Representative Andrew Clyde [R-GA] stated, “[t]he nefarious greediness and behavior exposed in Project Veritas’s video is incredibly disturbing and warrants congressional oversight. It’s apparent that Andrew Lorenzen-Strait shamelessly views Biden’s border crisis as a cash cow opportunity — raising serious concerns about numerous lucrative federal contracts. Congress must investigate Lorenzen-Strait’s years long corrupt bargain scheme, which undoubtedly exploits both American taxpayer dollars and unaccompanied migrant children.”

In part two, Lorenzen-Strait, who says he worked out these deals directly with the Adams campaign, indicated Adams is focused on the “optics of giving a thousand-dollar hotel rooms a night to migrants when he has a homeless crisis and some other housing issues.” He elaborates that while the city is bankrolling the process, they’re implementing contracts with other New York cities, like Albany. Lorenzen-Strait told our undercover journalist, they went outside New York City to make a deal with “a group called SLS Co., which is knee-deep into contributions to Mayor Adams’ campaign,” is “inept” and “incompetent. But that’s this game.”
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson and New Rochelle City Manager Kathleen Gill did not respond by deadline to our request for comment.

During conversations with an undercover Veritas journalist, former Biden transition team official, Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, tells of his legacy in the immigration space. He confesses his role is described by critics as a “corrupt bargain.” Lorenzen-Strait explains how he brokered a $2 billion-dollar contract between the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Cherokee Federal, a tribal-owned federal contractor arm of the Cherokee Nation, to manage post-relief migrant care and the relocation of unaccompanied migrant children despite Cherokee Federal having no previous experience with migrant care.
Mr. Lorenzen-Strait, a principal of Deep Water Associates, celebrates brokering the second largest HHS award in history, helping facilitate a change in Cherokee Federal’s focus from “alcohol and gambling” to “caring for 80,000 kids.” Lorenzen-Strait was previously the subject of a Congressional investigation by House and Senate Republicans, as well as federal investigations by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General, due to his role in brokering multiple deals with the Biden administration after leaving the transition team. Amid these investigations, he resigned as senior director for migrant services and federal affairs at Endeavors, a non-governmental organization (NGO).
Veritas’ HHS Whistleblower, Tara Rodas, joined us to share her expertise working with Endeavors. Incidentally, Endeavors was the entity which served as a federal contractor at the Pomona Fairplex Emergency Intake Site in California. Rodas was deployed there as a volunteer of Operation Artemis to help the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement reunite unaccompanied migrant children with sponsors in the U.S. She comments that Mr. Lorenzen-Strait admits, while they are not experts in the field, they are somehow able to “go around regular contracting rules to give a contract in an emergency to people who were not experts in the job they were supposed to be doing.” Rodas added, “[t]hat is stunning and absolutely appalling. It is still stunning to me that people believe kids are commodities.”
The amount of federal money awarded to the contractors and their staff is startling. According to Rodas, for example, one Cherokee Federal executive, Dan Guinan, was paid over $51,000. An emergency intake site is funded in six-month periods. This specific contract between Cherokee Federal and the government was over $600M for that brief period. Today, Project Veritas published the real story behind the Ashley Biden diary and personal items, when and how it came into our possession, and the subsequent unconstitutional FBI raids of three Veritas journalists. Hear, for the first time, the fateful voicemail left on our tip line, as well as the call, in which Ashley herself confirmed the authenticity of the diary, and the rest of the full story.
In the Fall of 2020, Project Veritas was approached by tipsters claiming they had Ashley Biden’s diary. Veritas had neither met nor heard of these individuals prior thereto. Each of the tipsters indicated they had acquired the diary and personal effects of Ashley Biden after they had been abandoned in a room where Ms. Biden had stayed at that time. The tipsters also claimed the diary included explosive allegations against then-Presidential candidate and current sitting President, Joe Biden.
We took steps to corroborate the authenticity of the diary but, ultimately, made the decision not to publish. We attempted to return the diary to an attorney representing Ms. Biden, Roberta Kaplan. Project Veritas then gave the diary to law enforcement to return it to its rightful owner. Soon after, we learned in 2021 that the Department of Justice began investigating the issue a year prior, claiming the diary was stolen. In November of 2021, James O’Keefe’s and two other journalists’ homes were subjected to pre-dawn FBI raids. Documents obtained by Project Veritas later revealed that details of the investigation were leaked to journalists at the New York Times during the raids.
During testimony before the House Judiciary Committee’s Representative, Andy Biggs, James O’Keefe stated, “In short, we did nothing wrong other than the non-crime of investigating a story, as journalists do.”
When Project Veritas reached out to the Biden campaign for comment on October 16th of 2020, Ashley Biden’s attorney, Ms. Kaplan, responded by email stating, “We should send to the Southern District of New York.” Shortly thereafter, the SDNY approved the first of 19 secret subpoenas, orders and warrants, which gave the Department of Justice unfettered access to Project Veritas’ newsroom, sensitive email and phone data, and gag orders preventing our journalists from knowing about the seizures.
On April 13th, 2022, Project Veritas filed a motion demanding the return of its property from the Department of Justice. In a stunning revelation, it was revealed the Department of Justice had been Spying on Project Veritas journalists’ and security detail’s Apple and Google accounts for over a year.
The American Civil Liberties Union [ACLU] published This November 14th, 2021 statement in response to the FBI raids, which reads, “Unless the government had good reason to believe that Project Veritas employees were directly involved in the criminal theft of the diary, it should not have subjected them to invasive searches and seizures. We urge the court to appoint a special master to ensure that law enforcement officers review only those materials that were lawfully seized and that are directly relevant to a legitimate criminal investigation.”
Representative Jim Jordan [R-OH], on April 6th of 2022, Spoke in favor of H.R. 4330, the Press Act, in response to the Department of Justice’s targeting of Project Veritas. Representative Jordan stated, “In a free country, we need to make sure that the government cannot unmask journalists’ sources without good cause. This Bill provides those protections, and it is time we get this legislation signed into law.”
Now, nearly two years following the pre-dawn FBI raids, Project Veritas has spent millions of dollars defending the three journalists. A ruling on whether the government will be allowed to legally see journalists’ privileged materials, including with their own attorneys, is expected soon by United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York, Analisa Torres.
Project Veritas maintains that it neither broke any laws, nor committed any crimes, in the pursuit of this story.

Project Veritas has acquired hundreds of documents that detail business plans for the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) State-Owned Enterprises related to their 14th Five-Year-Plan. A source alerted Project Veritas to an exposed web server belonging to one of China’s state sponsored enterprises. Over 400 files were able to be accessed by the public and downloaded without a password.

These documents detail Chinese Government projects that were approved by the CCP in October of 2020. Some of these projects focus on advanced technology, including biotechnology, nuclear technology, AI etc., some with potential military applications. They also cover high end manufacturing, including agricultural and medical equipment, as well as the development of materials and chemicals.

Based on the documents, several individuals involved in the research and development of these projects work with public universities and private companies in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, and Germany through various CCP programs, including the Chinese Thousand Talents program.

This program, along with affiliated Confucius Institutes, were subject to oversight and disclosure of Chinese Communist Party members during the Trump Administration. The Biden Administration revoked this oversight in 2021 – the same year China’s current Five-Year-Plan was initiated.

Intelligence Agencies across the globe believe that the Chinese Government utilizes State Owned Enterprises to undermine the Free World in an attempt to become the world's only superpower.

WASHINGTON D.C. — Project Veritas revealed today President Biden’s alleged secret “backup plan” discovered ahead of the Supreme Court striking down his Executive Order on Student Loan Forgiveness.

Today, the Supreme Court argued Biden should have sought Congressional approval before attempting to implement what would be a substantial taxpayer expense. Nonprofit Chiefs For Change Federal Policy Director, Makese Motley, on undercover camera, told our journalist that the Biden administration anticipated the Supreme Court’s position on this matter and is already working to circumvent the ruling.

Political Shakedown For Millions: NYC Mayor Eric Adams Exports Migrant Crisis to Suburbs

MAMARONECK— Project Veritas today revealed that the mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, is spending millions in tax dollars to put illegal migrants into hotels in Rockland County, New York.

“They’re trying to turn it into a homeless shelter, like a migrant facility, and under zoning laws you can’t turn it into anything other than a hotel,” said Martin Uli, Assistant County Attorney for Rockland County.

An investigation by Project Veritas exposed the inner workings of a multi-million-dollar deal between the office of New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Hudson Valley hotel owner Ashok Bhatt, to house a large number of migrants in the 171 room Armoni Inn & Suites in Orangeburg, NY. Project Veritas captured these admissions by Martin Uli on video, utilizing undercover journalism.

The lease document obtained by Project Veritas reveals a proposed deal between Rapid Reliable Testing NY, LLC (“DocGo”) and Palisades EOM LLC for $6,241,500 per year for five years to rent the rooms totaling $31,207,500.

NYC uses DocGo to contract with hotels. DocGo has been the subject of Project Veritas in 2022 reporting which investigated their role in administering the COVID-19 vaccine to children in New York City.

Uli admits on camera that if the money had been better spread around, there would have been less resistance to the Mayor’s scheme, “...if Rockland was getting a piece of the pie, they would not have sent the health inspectors to that hotel.”

“Basically, the county of Rockland is just trying to keep them shut down because they don’t want them to operate.
