I don't have that many Edward VII stamps, but the ones I do have I treasure. Real historical stamps at the turn of the century at the height of Britain's vast sprawling imperial power across the world, just years before WW1 started. This is why stamps are so fascinating, real history in such tiny packages.

British stamps called "overprints" is a interesting subject, though the books priced on this subject are ridiculously expensive, £50, £60, silly prices.
Wikipedia may have it's bad points, but sometimes it comes in handy. Link for Morocco Agencies and Tangier overprints stamps. Basically the British set up neutral international zones to sell stamps and sort mail in Morocco from 1857 right up until 1959.

What are your thoughts on the retail stamp market. I talk about the dominance of ebay stamp sales and what I consider to be the obsolete and over inflated catalogue prices of Stanley Gibbons. How Stanley Gibbons has distorted and inflated stamp prices over the years and decades. If you are a stamp collector please offer your comments below, I would be very interested to hear everyone's varying opinions and comments. Enjoy the video.

This Bitchue channel is about all things concerning stamps and stamp collecting. My main field of stamp collecting really is British Empire colonial stamps up to around the late 1950's, early 1960's. Pre decimal, thought I do also have decimal British stamps 1970's, 1980's, though in my view post decimal stamps are far less interesting than pre decimal British stamps.
