DC produces a movie so boring that it can't escape being rotten. Why does it still have a 78% fresh critic and audience score on Rotten Tomatoes? Color and quirky acrobatics is not a substitute for story and character.

After watching this film, I know even less about the character of Harley Quinn. Another fail for the DC Cinematic Universe.

'Project Power' had an incredible premise. Unfortunately, Netflix couldn't locate a writer who knew how to take advantage of that premise. 'The Old Guard' is far more entertaining.

I finally got a chance to see 'The Rise of Skywalker' -- and without giving a cent of money to Disney. I can now say with all honesty that this film deserves to be rotten. The problems of this film are numerous and only dwarfed by the empty feeling that I had at its conclusion. Nothing about this overly expensive spectacle felt real.

So, I binge watched 'The Umbrella Academy' after hearing much criticism from some of my favorite YouTube channels. Were the complaints of the show becoming too 'woke' in Season 2 valid?

I look at audience reviews on Rotten Tomatoes for comparison.

After a disappointing viewing of 2019's 'Ad Astra' I take a look at audience reviews on Rotten Tomatoes to find some redemption. How did this big budget, big cast production end up failing to entertain?

I give my thoughts on the Netflix show 'October Faction', which is most definitely rotten on Rotten Tomatoes. I was anticipating a show about monster hunting...

A look at audience reviews of 'Life' (2017) on Rotten Tomatoes. Did the world need another plot hole filled ripoff of 'Alien'? I doubt it!

A look at audience reviews of 'The Visit' (2015) on Rotten Tomatoes. This film was not quite scary, and the 'found footage' style of camera work did not add anything to the experience. Perhaps it is worth watching one time, if your expectations are not too high.

After watching the first episode, 'Remembrance', of Star Trek: Picard, I put my thoughts of the show on record. STP is not quite Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek. It is in many ways both a retcon and a deconstruction of Star Trek: The Next Generation and the character of Jean-Luc Picard. Do these have to be fatal flaws to enjoyment?

A look at audience reviews of 'Jack the Giant Slayer' (2013) on Rotten Tomatoes. This film had all of the ingredients to be something great, but was let down by its PG-13 rating and its inability to decide between horror and comedy. The CGI is the least of this film's problems.

Someone, apparently deeply offended by the loose collection of YouTube channels branding themselves the 'Fandom Menace', created a Change.org petition to have the fan group banned from YouTube and other social media sites. Five months old, this petition hasn't gained traction. The Fandom Menace lives on...

A look at audience reviews of 'A Wrinkle in Time' (2018) on Rotten Tomatoes. This film often looks as bright and magical as an ad for fabric softener; but it is chock full of complete logical fail. How does a giant-sized Oprah Winfrey with diamond glitter face paint tickle your fancy?

I look at early audience reviews of Star Trek: Picard on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB. There are a couple of main opinion camps, and plenty of passion in both directions. Some would like to see a faithful modernization of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and some would prefer more of a deliberate deconstruction of that material. Your mileage may vary!

A rather classic flat earth type of thread on Godlike Productions. A poster claims SpaceX is fake, and the rockets used are actually balloons. I call this 'classic' because it cites YouTube flat earth conspiracy video as evidence of a fake space program, nefarious Elon Musk, and a government using massive amounts of helium to convince the public that balloons are rockets. Why didn't Hollywood think of this?

The Washington Post, desperate for clicks, promotes the left-wing Star Wars ranting of a 'professor' of political science. According to this article, J.J. Abrams made Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to appease the 'right-wing' members of 'The Fandom Menace'.

I highly disagree.

You may not have heard about the 'GLP Effect'. There are people who believe it may be the only force protecting us all from certain doom. That's no small thing, because Godlike Productions is chock full of pure doom. Once again, another variant of the dreaded 'pole shift' apocalypse has emerged, and it's up to the 'effect' to save us.

In this video from way back in October, I tally up the hoax claims that always come with a thread concerning a SpaceX launch event. Much like Flat-Earthers, SpaceX 'deniers' will never let go of their conspiracy theory that SpaceX is a fraud. Some of the hard core hoax believers can be entertaining.

A look at audience reviews of 'Doppelganger' (1993) on Rotten Tomatoes. This film is laugh-out-loud bad, and a rare gem that will entertain with its rottenness. For the best result, this film may be viewed after a few cold brews. Drew Barrymore deserves recognition for this work.

I render my opinion on Doctor Who: Orphan 55 and also on the quality of Season 12. I have now watched the first three episodes of Doctor Who - Season 12 and have decided if I will continue to follow this show.

A look at audience reviews of 'Cabin Fever' (2002) on Rotten Tomatoes. This film was intended as a spoof of the genre. If you take this movie seriously as a work of horror, you may be offended. If you take this movie as an overly gross satire, you may be slightly pleased. Either way, this movie still deserves to be rotten. The humor just didn't quite land, most of the time.

It appears that at some early hour of January 12, 2020 all audience reviews of Doctor Who - Season 12 were deleted. Shortly afterward, the 1/2-star negative reviews began to flood in. It's unclear if this was the result of a back-end database error at Rotten Tomatoes, a mistake, or the result of some sort of hack. In any case, there is more fodder for the allegations that something underhanded is happening at Rotten Tomatoes. I look at these new audience reviews and contrast with the reviews from January 9 which have been lost.

A look at a prominent moon landing hoax thread on Godlike Productions forum, with commentary. This was first published to YouTube on October 15, 2019.

A look at audience reviews of 'Seventh Son' (2015) on Rotten Tomatoes. If you ever wanted to see Jeff Bridges play the lead role in 'The Witcher'...with a potato stuffed into his mouth... This is the film for you!

A look at audience reviews of 'The Witcher' - Season 1 (2019) on Rotten Tomatoes. This 8 episode Netflix series deserves it's 93% audience review. It does have a particular style (some would say 'flaw') that makes it not quite suitable for binge watching. My recommendation is to allow a few days between watching of episodes for the best experience.

A look at audience reviews of 'Independence Day: Resurgence' (2016) on Rotten Tomatoes. This film's greatest flaw is that it forgot to be fun. It is just as goofy and campy as the first, but tries to be dark and serious. It manages to be utterly rotten.
