This is the first section of the Hunyuan 46 form as I learned it. The 46 form is the last form developed by Grandmaster Feng ZhiQiang, the founder of the Hunyuan style.

This is the Wu/Hao 13 form I learned at Taiji Legacy in 2009. It was created by Jimmy Wong and taught in a short seminar by his student Milton Lie. I am not a Wu/Hao stylist, but have taught this form in introductory classes. It is a very simple beginners form. I made the video for anyone looking for a beginners form or who learned the form and want to refresh their memory.

The eighth and final section of the Hunyuan 48 form. I recently attended a gathering in Missouri and had a little time on the first day to finish filming the last three sections.

This is a very simple set of double stick drills. I learned them from friends that trained at a Kenpo school in Florissant, Missouri. They are not style specific, to my knowledge. The purpose in showing them here is to provide a jumping off point for anyone who might have an interest in adding stick drills to their training regimen.

We have added subtitles to the video, but you have to turn on Closed Captioning to see them.

These videos will catalog the push hands drills that were taught by Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang at a Hunyuan workshop in Helsinki Finland in the year 2000. The second video is demonstrating the single hand moving step drills. While some details are mentioned, these videos are not meant to teach the drills in detail. Yet there should be adequate detail for anyone that wants to try them.

These are the last three postures of the Hunyuan 24 form. They are all very short postures. So, I chose to put them together in one video. This video concludes my first series on the Hunyuan 24 form.
The 24 form is the international standard for the Hunyuan style of Taijiquan. The purpose of this series is to help students with the choreography of the form. While the 24 form is the international standard, there is still a great deal of variation in the finer details.

This is the HunYuan 24 form as taught to me by Master Zhang XueXin and my teacher Sifu Herb Parran. The form should be performed in about six to six and a half minutes. We will be following this video with a breakdown of the form. We will visit topics such as, common mistakes, applications and key points. At present, the plan is to go through the form one posture at a time. Each video will give closeup views of footwork, hand movements and key points. We hope you enjoy the video, and those to follow, and encourage you to leave comments.
