Dr. Raszek (Merogenomics) Latest evidence showing the production of IgG4 antibodies in mRNA vaccinated with interesting information on vaccinated individuals on immunosuppressive compounds that finally open the door to understanding how these surprise side effects post mRNA shots are similar to IgG4-related diseases. This also opens the door to a very interesting and unusual theory of why we might see this effect, namely that part of the spike protein resembles one of the proteins in our bodies which might also account for prior cytokine storms seen in the unvaccinated.

Dr. Raszek (Merogenomics) Another recent publication demonstrating the appearance of IgG4 antibodies in mRNA vaccinated individuals, especially after 3rd shot. The study looks into certain immunological functions that could be of importance to health, and we discuss this in the context of cancer development. The study confirms that those who took the adenovirus vector-based vaccine (AstraZeneca) are fine. This study shows that those who took two AZ shots followed by mRNA booster are also fine and do not show an increase in IgG4 unless subsequently infected by the virus, but the levels are mild in comparison to what is observed in mRNA vaccinated.

Dr. Raszek (Merogenomics) One of the most common questions we have been receiving is finally answered: how long does the spike protein last after spike mRNA injection? The authors took advantage of the super easy-to-monitor fact that the vaccinal spike proteins were mutated and therefore are not cut up the same way by enzymes as a viral spike protein. This allows monitoring of the vaccinal spike protein in the blood post-injection. But what was even more surprising are the authors' theories as to why the spike protein is seen as long as it is.

Dr. Raszek (Merogenomics) What is the likelihood of experiencing strokes post COVID-19 vaccination? This is what we unravel in today's topic based on research from the US. Surprisingly, it appears that the stroke incidence is much lower than what was observed for either the COVID-19 patients or even in a general population prior to the pandemic? So does that mean that vaccines had additional protective effect besides protecting from COVID-19? We cannot know as this might have been variant effect prior to the virus immune escape where anyone can now be infected and experience COVID-19. The location of spike protein interaction with fibrin components of clots has been mapped by the authors and that it is the spike protein itself that promotes the high inflammatory state. Most importantly, authors show a therapeutic way of resolving the formation of clots by the spike protein by using antibodies that prevent spike protein binding to fibrin components of clots. Dr. Mikolaj Raszek
Founder and managing director
Merogenomics Inc., based in Edmonton, Canada, was founded by Dr. Mikolaj Raszek in 2015, who currently manages the corporation. He holds a degree in Honours Genetics as well as a doctorate degree in Biochemistry, both obtained at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. During graduate studies, Dr. Raszek became excited by combinatorial biosynthesis and its application to genomics.
After defending his PhD dissertation, he moved to Germany in 2012 to work at the University of Leipzig. Continued interest in microbial genomics exposed him to the still novel but burgeoning field of genomic medicine based on human DNA sequencing, and he decided to continue his career in this area of science.
