This is my introductory promo video of my Philippine Loop Adventure Tour after 14 DAYS by bicycle in Northern Luzon.
I am bicycling the entire country in 60 DAYS on my 60 BIRTHDAY. My Starting and Finishing Line is at SM MASINAG, ANTIPOLO, RIZAL PROVINCE.
My 1st of 2 Stages was from December 18th, 2023 to January 3rd, 2024 in which I completed most of Northern Luzon in 14 biking days - 1,461KMS (907 Miles).
My 2nd Stage will be Alaminos, Pangasinan to Subic, Zambales and down through Bicol, Visayas, Mindanao, and return through Negros, Panay, Mindoro, Batangas, and home (SM Masinag, Antipolo).
The trip is estimated at over 5,200KMS (3,231 Miles). I need to average 88Kms a day to target. I am currently averaging 104Kms. So okay!
Trivia: When I crossed the USA in 2019, the trip was nearly 6,800KMS (4,228 Miles) and took me 81 days.

EDSA Blvd is the Longest Highway in Metro-Manila surrounding six cities. It is 24 Kilometers one way from MONUMENTO to MALL OF ASIA. If you bicycle the entire route from end to end, round trip, the distance will be a minimum* of 48 Kilometers. My trip ended up 73 Kilometers in 4:22:00 moving time. Whew!
*minimum: You will need to add your distance to and from the starting point along EDSA.
In PASAY CITY: I made a big detour mistake because of confusion at a seemingly dead end, and trusting the wrong directions from some other bikers, so I entitled this feature: Dysfunctional* EDSA LOOP.
Because I lived near EDSA in from 1996 to 2000, I have MANY STORIES to tell. My EDSA LOOP is more like a personal "tour guide style" of many of my memorable stories. There is A LOT of narration, but you will recognize the scenes.
For those who have not been to Metro-Manila in many years, will notice the MASSIVE changes made. Enjoy!
